[Trip Report] Chiang Mai & Mae Hong Son

Hi peepz, tot some of you who intend to plan a trip to chiang mai, mae hong son might like to check out part of the video of my buddies and my trip to chiangmai as well as the mae hong son 1864 corners. At least you guys can know what to expect of the road conditions. Enjoy.

Not always, there are a lot of dead dogs, cow dungs, pot holes & lots of sand. They are also building roads where at times we have to go thru mud, soil to get to the other side. They are more videos but my buddy have yet to upload them. One of my friend fell becoz there was sand at the blindspot corners at mae hong son.

Normal dv cam mounted to a metal bracket from the wind shield to the tank.

Not advisable bro, best to have a buddy to tag along. It always helps, in case u get stuck in the muddy areas at the mountains. One of my friend hit a dog where it dashed out when we were travelling at 190km/h. Luckily jut hit at the rear where the dog jut spin. morever safer to travell with a buddy. Alot of unexpected stuffs will happen.

So far I've prepared pretty well for this trip. Thx to the monthly meetings leading up to the actual trip with my buddies. I would definetly luv to go on this trip again as it is an experience of a lifetime which you will nv get.

 

Word of advise: Be sure to do all plannings b4 hand wif ur buddies and most importantly, Teamwork, Riding Attitude, Understanding among ur buddies and lastly Preparation are very important to make it a happening trip.

Not too bad urself, read alot abt you. Planning trips up north, sharing ur experience n stuffs. Good to have ppl like u around. Hopefully one day we can plan for a trip together. Maybe further than Thailand, if can clear Burma border?

Thx for the comments, buddy, Total milage was 6230km and it took us ard 11days. By the way, i kinda not sure who u r. Maybe seen u b4 but can't confirm. Approach me next time u see me at track?

agree wid simon. Especially if you are going to mae hong son for the 1864 corners. Dangerous and not advisable. I had my fair share when it rain for 5 mins b4 shouting to God not to rain and it really stopped after 5 mins.

Tempting as it might. My frd riding blackbird fell to due a long stretch of sand covering the entire lane. To make matters worse, it was a blind spot u-turn corner which has no way of escaping.
