very dirty

i like to see clean cleanand shiny

how come so dirty? too long never clean right... if you practice "clean as you go" then it will be easy to maintain... like mine... ordinary car shampoo can already...

er... that is like mission impossible. esp when a sign agreement can be overturn-ed verbally a short while later.

wat more can be expected of by such an act.

all in all, when/if it gets finalized, there can be a chance that suddenly the petrol attendants say you can't pump now but 1 or 2 days later mentioned its just a miscomm from 'HQ'

chain lube have this problem... cos they are made to 'stick' to the chain... that why when the fling onto the rims, they are hard to clean also...

if you really want the best... let uncle advise you... the best 'chain lube' is actually gear oil (SAE 90). it goes very well into the chain (x-ring or o-ring) and even if it flings, it is easiler clean off with just normal car shampoo...

it gives excellent chain life... my stock chain already over 41,000km mileage... only tighen once... you really can beat that right...

only thing is that you need lots of TLC for to manual lub the chain...

CNG is for fuel saving... still cant match petrol in terms of performance...

i cannot imagine a 1000cc sportbike fitted with a CNG engine... then the days of 299 will be over...

like to quote some big bike owner's saying... (from XXX forum when people asked about particular model's FC) if want to ride big bike, dun worry about FC... if worry about FC, then better switch to small cc like wave or pulsar... kekeke...

RM$ 2.70 - S$ 1.15 (Rate 2.35)

Pump MY Petrol via 2nd Link

SG Toll - S$ 1.20 (Roundtrip)

MY Toll - S$ 1.36 (Roundtrip)

Pump 20L - S$1.15 x 20L = S$23.00

Total you are paying S$ 25.56

Pump Locally in SGP

Pump 20L - S$2.186 (Mobil Syn 5000) X 20L = S$ 43.72

5% discount = S$41.53

Total you are paying S$ 41.53

Savings = S$ 15.97

But from my point of view, didn't save much also... :p

Wait till MY fully remove the subsidy by August 08, Petrol is going to be like RM$3.00 - RM$4.00 liao. Touring anyone? :p

take bus still have to pay bus fare... and it is not cheap nowadays too...

better ride bicycle or 'bus 11' aka 'walk on both feet'... in africa, there are still people who walk 40km just to get from one town to another... SG, the widest end is only 42km... still within range...

and after doing that for a few years, can go for marathon... (thats why you see the africans always wins the marathon)... :thumb:

well, your calculation is incomplete, this is because you have to minus the fuel lost travelling in and out of MY.

For me, i travelled around 32km from my place to GP Esso + U-turn at 312C (think also around 10km) + return journey another around 32km = total of 74km.

my bike average FC is about 18km/l... so the trip to pump alone will incur addition 4litres of fuel lost, and translates to $1.15 x 4 = S$4.60.

this will be a more complete picture...

oh, more to add... the above is purely based on $$$ calculation... there are still some other non-tangible lost such as:

1. time spend for the trip

2. comsumables such as EO, coolant, typre wear and tear, etc.
