well, your calculation is incomplete, this is because you have to minus the fuel lost travelling in and out of MY.

 

For me, i travelled around 32km from my place to GP Esso + U-turn at 312C (think also around 10km) + return journey another around 32km = total of 74km.

 

my bike average FC is about 18km/l... so the trip to pump alone will incur addition 4litres of fuel lost, and translates to $1.15 x 4 = S$4.60.

 

this will be a more complete picture...

 

you guys still haven't calculate mileage lost on ur chain, sprockets, tyres, brakes etc etc.

Pump MY Petrol via 2nd Link

 

SG Toll - S$ 1.20 (Roundtrip)

MY Toll - S$ 1.36 (Roundtrip)

Pump 20L - S$1.15 x 20L = S$23.00

Total you are paying S$ 25.56

 

Pump Locally in SGP

 

Pump 20L - S$2.186 (Mobil Syn 5000) X 20L = S$ 43.72

5% discount = S$41.53

Total you are paying S$ 41.53

 

Savings = S$ 15.97

 

But from my point of view, didn't save much also... :p

 

Wait till MY fully remove the subsidy by August 08, Petrol is going to be like RM$3.00 - RM$4.00 liao. Touring anyone? :p

but i found out from ayer keroh

traveliing at 150 -160

i can reach kulai , then i wak 190 and above

reach gp esso still haven reach reserve
