try use hair dryer to blow the buzzer..

may helps sometimes..

but do take note of the plastic material of the buzzer.. dun overheat it..

:)

yeah, try a few things already:

1. air-dry,

2. leave under the sun,

3. use hairdryer,

4. heat in a enclosed pot (heat only, not cook)

still nothing positive.

Alex, I believe he has done that but to no avail.....

anyway, got a new buzzer from sim lim tower yesterday and fixed it. very sharp and loud pitch, so now have to wrap with cloth under my pillion sit, if not, too irritating even for myself.

I just finish scrapping my room walls. Tired... E-bay-ing... Interested in the items? MADE IN THAILAND

the rotors are made in china one leh... dunno if reliable one or not... although i poser, but also prefer practical...

dun want to play play with brakes and tyres cos to me they are the most important parts of the bike which makes a diff when you need to stop your bike...

so far, OEM brembo front brake pump, EBC brakes pads with OEM rotors have served me well... if want to change, prefer a reputable brand...

uncle too old and heart too weak to undergo front tyres lock or skid...

spend more time doing useless planning that goes out dated every 2-3 weeks, than actual fruitful project management...

i walked around a few shops all never sell loud buzzers (have those small small ones which dun really makes good alarm buzzer)

then one shop pointed me to another which he claims will sell... i went into the shop and the uncle (or should i call him grandpa) was very helpful... was asking what i need the buzzer for and help me with the selection... then he showed me one which he claimed to be very loud and is water proof...

he even connect and tested the buzzer for me... then he continued to show me other buzzers... well... being so helpful... i eventually bought my buzzer at $25...

after that, i decide to continue to shop for wires, connects, holders, etc to hock up my new buzzer... then the next shop that i went into was selling the same buzzer for $5... only that it is laying around in a tray (like those lalong corner) with no packing (the one that i bought have packing)....

so $20 more for a box.. *faint* super fat carrot...

its not the distance clocked for run-in. hard run-in. woohoo!!! :cheeky:

in short, the 17k rebate for OPC can only come from COE + ARF.

If the sum of that 2 falls shorts of 17k, you gotta dig ur own pockets for the lapse after deducting the rebate from car dealer.

For normal cars, from a 10k to $2 coe. Do you think he gains? Actually he loses ard 4k min even b4 he start the engine for the first time.

worth it if intend to renew COE already then the car away...
nope, it will still cost ard 10k for a COE renewal. As COE renewal is an average of the past 6 COE price biddings.

hard run-in... cool! then lets red-line the bugger the weekend you got it... we whack all the way at NSHW... can change EO at the R&R petrol station... :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

did not know that COE renewal is based on average of 6 biddings.. but with a $2 COE, i am sure the average will be bought down significantly...

actually it doesn't. cos think there was 2 bids where the price is at around 12k and 14k range. so the avg is very close to 10k.

my dad got his coe renewal at ard 250 cos the past 3 or 4 biddings for commercial vans is at $1. :cheeky:
