err.. new FI HD no sound one leh.. think even quieter than lester's new car... :sian:

 

 

 

 

i think the carbon in my bike no better.. worse, i cant clear the carbon cos of the stupid 7000rpm rev limiting defect...

 

see... told you HD is a uncle's bike... lucky i have not developed that interest for HD... kekeke...

 

if HD quiet quiet... then is not HD already... no point paying that amount for a quiet bike... :sian:

 

you can still clear carbon... like the good old ways... take out the exhaust and use a blow torch to clear carbon by burning it away... still works for the kups... :thumb:

err.. maybe a cheong pipe.. trust me.. all FI model HD have very sucky sound.. even with the pipe changed.. its no better..

 

anyway, there is a SE thats is approved only in 29 states in USA.. heard that one abit louder.. but my dad didnt want to buy that cos he scared sound too loud.. will attract.. erm.. unwanted attention... but now leh... haiz.... regret.. :sian:

just when we are started to cheer up for the holidays...

 

gotten a message that my cousin was hitted by a lorry last nite at Yishun... and is in critical condition... from what i understand, the Indian lorry driver is believe to be under the influence of alcohol...

 

doctor express that the condition is not optimistic and has asked my uncle and auntie to have mental preparations...

 

just like to ask that all of you to pray for him (if it is not too much to ask)...

 

also like to take the opportunity to ask that all of you to be really really careful on the roads... just think of the love ones around you...

 

may God bless all and brings some comfort to my cousin and his family...

that's exactly what came to my mind... my cousin is a tough guy like you... and he is only 20yrs old... really sad that he is only beginning to see the world... :cry:

 

I wouldn't mind going down to pay him a visit and give him and his family support, and share my experiences. From my experience, talking to a patient in coma do really help, or playing a radio beside him will irritate him to prevent him from falling into deep sleep. Most important is to have him keep hearing familiar voices, and he will create images in his own mind and have a dream, that will help his brain to be hardworking to fight and struggle to stay alive.

It was reported in today's TODAY.. The Indian driver was arrested for drunk driving.. The police are asking for eye witnesses..

its a good thing that there are still some righteous singaporeans who prevented the escape of the indian driver..

 

how's ur cousin now? pray that he will be out of danger soon..

cousin still in bad condition... when i was back at the ICU last nite, the place was filled with concerned visitors including lots of relatives and friends. he is a nice chap and from the people who came, it just affirms it.

 

i am really glad that that indian driver was detained by others till police arrived. but nothing is really the top concern now except him getting through this ordeal.

 

just read another fatal accident that took place about 2 weeks ago on the NSHW. Fazer rider banged into an overturned lorry during darkness.

 

I guess most of us are experienced/season riders... but just like to reminder all that try not to outride what you cannot see. and even when parking at the road shoulder, do take note of in coming vehicles as there are cases where vehicles/people on the road shoulder got hit.

 

Esp to the guys heading north... do take care and still safe... nothing is more important than that...
