Hi guys, so my situation now is I want to sell off my bike ASAP.

I still wanna use it now till i find a buyer but my road tax just expired and i cannot renew it unless i renew insurance.

But problem is lets say i renew my insurance and then i get a buyer in 2 weeks time, then it will be a waste of $$$ as i paid for 1 year insurance. Then i have to pay new insurance for new bike.

Any ideas what i can do ?

Thanks

insurance company will pro-rate refund when you cancel. call them and ask for confirmation of this.

road tax of coz no refund, just have to incorporate it into your selling price.

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!

yes, usually refund is pro rated based on the unused portion of the premium but not on a linear scale ie. if your annual premium in $200, and you cancel policy after 6 months, your refund will be less than $100.

Check with your insurer
