went to ubi

but the officer very "dont talk to you" one "stare stare"

then i just smile and smile, give the "please lah dont fail me" look

 

the officer talk also bit "action" one like he is your CO, but i just smile smile and then he say "pass you now, next time i fail" then i smile smile again and ZOOOOMMMMMMMM . happen both time with my scrambler (he very kuai lan when i brought this for inspection i think he dont like scram ppl) and phantom (diff officer but still the same attitude)

inspection all depends on the officer one, there is so call no standard rule one lor example they see fog light they happy they let u pass they not happy directly fail u.

 

All this is heng or sway nia not saying mod pipe all these this but minor minor things sometimes good officer will let u pass one.

I just sent my bike for inspection at the AMK center.. The one close to SSDC..

 

A chinese mid-aged guy was there.. Kinda yaya-papaya type.. He told me not to pay for the inspection as my bike will surely fail.. Told me that my highlight was not the original one.. Crashbar was wider than my foot rest.. The 2 items mentioned was definitely fail the inspection thus he told me not to waste my time..

 

Kinda screwed up, huh?

 

Anyways, went to Wing Yap motors & asked for their advise.. Upon looking at my log card only found out that my bike is under 3 years thus there's no need for inspection.. Doopp...

 

Anyways, just my 2 cents.. Try to skip the inspection center that I went to.. Give me bad vibes man..

eh? headlight cannot pass, how come? i don't see the reason why. as long as it has the appropriate brightness, that should be okay. why must bother about it's shell

seems like you are the first to fail inspection at AMK JIT..

First impressions count lor.. If the inspector wanna find fault, most definitely he can..

 

Anyways, just renewed my road tax till next April so won't get to see him till then..

 

I've got a colleague who's modding his Phantom too.. He changed his headlight to a "Valkyrie" type, with 2 more high beams between it.. Sliced his pipe open at JB to make it sound like a Harley..

 

I guess he'll have more of a problem during inspection..

if the motorshop helps u to send for inspection

they'll make it until it pass

anyway if u pay liao n go for inspection. then u fail

u go again. it's free. u pay only once

NO ,U R wrong, the insurance company not interest your testing . Is only ROV

 

when U renew the road tax , then they want to know is your bike insured,

 

otherwise, if meet an accident, R U able to compensate the injured.

I wanted to extend my insurance and road tax togethet till Sep 2006, but cannot..can only buy insurance and roadtax till march...

What U mean???

 

normally , road tax U can pay either half year or one year,so try to get your insurance the expire date in line with your road tax expireing date, U can get the insurance company do 4 U,so next when U renew your road tax, it has no tedious

 

thing to fulfill.

 

I juct ask my insurance company to top up the remaiming months, because

 

my previous owener did do it right.

3) Rear Brake -pass

5) Allignment -pass

6) Horn - fail ..no horn installed i say drop off along the way

7) Visual Check - Mudguard - pass

8) Visual Check - Numberplate - fail

9) Numberplate/Light -fail

10) Exhaust -belly is aftermarket , muffler is original -PASS

11) Seat -pass

12) Other Misc (please specify) -Brake light not working, front plate not approve, tyres not approve

for inspection)

Horn---PASS

 

CO emission----PASS

 

Noise Level--PAss

Carriage-------Pass

to let me know how much to top up the premium till 4,Dec 2006.

My bike also got similar crashbar as yours... did not fail leh...

heh passed liao at Kaki Bukit the fellow quite nice, never ask anything

Hey guys, anyrecommendation for before inspection touch up. I think my allignment alittle not there. Any recommendation of any shops can do good allignment?
