hi guys, long time no post..haha... how's everyone??

Wanna share a little experience with an workshop i went to recently due to certain restrictions...

Went for re-spraying of my bike, did some exterior work and stuff, and i told them to change the EO for me too, since it was due...summary abt this bike shop, person to person customer service excellent, no doubt abt that, but can't say the same for their workmanship, skills and trustworthiness...

1. had to revisit the shop 4 times just to get my side mirrors changed

a. first time no stock for mirrors even though i already told them when i sent the bike in for repairs.

b. second time they change the mirrors but one side had a crack on the frame and no more ready stock, must do 1-to-1 exchange.

c. third time i went, i left the bike there and went to another place before coming back, they took the wrong side mirror and sent it for exchange. I went in the morning and came back in the evening before they close, the despatch wasn't back yet, and they actually took the wrong side mirror to be exchanged, i had to settle for some funny mirror for the time being while they get it sorted out.

d. fourth time i went, finally they got 2 side mirrors ready for me, but got scratches, i was too lazy to make anymore noise...

2. My speedometer was without light, they fixed on 2 new bulbs, and after a couple of short rides, i realized my brake lights were not lighting up. Preliminary checks by a friend showed that the grounding or relay wasn't strong or something like that, i went back to this workshop and they told me my whole tail light is damaged and must be replaced...costs abt $60+... I ended up going to my regular workshop, they checked and found that my relay was damaged due wear and tear, it kinda melted..they replaced 2 pieces of those for like less than $40...and also confirmed that my tail light was working just fine..

3. While doing the re-spray, they claimed to have changed my EO with premium EO, costing $30 per bottle and they have used 2 bottles, claiming that TA200 is big capacity, using only 1 bottle of EO will damage the engine in the long run...after about 1100km on 'premium' EO, the bike felt really weird, i immediately went to my regular workshop to check, they took out the EO and i saw fully black liquid coming out...i wonder if they even did change my EO in the first place...

4. Bike had some throttle problems...i suspected that it was petrol or air filter, or the valve was clogged...the workshop mech changed my petrol and air filter and told me water may have seeped into my carburetor, they so called checked and discovered no water but did some tuning to my carburetor, when they rev, my exhaust was shooting off like sub-machine gun, then they say my air pump is going to give way soon, hence the machine gun, cost to replace should be lesser than $100..i told the mech it's ok, i'll ride until spoil...in the end i rode to my regular workshop, told my usual mech the problems...he re-tune my carb, had to replace another petrol filter cos the 'new' one was leaking and the connecting tubes weren't secured...

Anyone who knows which workshop i went to is still free to support them, i just wish to share my experience on why i will probably never go back to that shop...
