i want to think abt such things after exams, but i cannot delay my deferment liao, i scare later cannot defer then i will be going taiwan >.

 

anyway i thinking of taking 3.3 and 3.4

dun wan take 3.1, it got low pass rate and learning to walk and run is not easy.

errr the risk is just learning the basic and advance together.

not easy learning it. it's like havent to walk then ask u start to run that kind of thing.

that's the risk.

 

but having said that, i know many people done that already, so it's not impossible.

i'm not sure if i'm up for this challenge.

 

it's just my point of view and the result of my research, maybe u can ask ur lecturers about it.

3.3 is the performance mgt right? i heard that it has alot of mgt accounting... think i m definitely skipping that one.... i cant take the stress of another mgt accounting paper!!!

are thr any courses which are so called "accelerated"? say completed in 2 mths? anything related to financial/investment/accounting.

 

coz my new job starts onli in mid-jan. n i wish to learn smething new and different from my engg major.

 

any advise/comments will be appreciated.

got something like an introductory course for acca, basic accounting stuffs i think. not too sure, i never attend it, probably u can check with saa or something.

i got this yaya ex colleague who told me so u r still in CAT i am studying with ACCA next yr.

heh he can only yaya when he graduate.

 

anyway i think CAT is good, coz it really starts from basic. i come from IT background, so many things r new.

many things are impt but acca dont really go into depth coz they expect me to know, which i dont.

things like bookkeeping, ledgers, T-accounts etc.

i only know how to do b/s etc, ask me manage the whole ledgers/cashbook, i will be so clueless

 

lol dunno how to survive nx time.

Try to finish your CAT in 1 years time and join him in ACCA next yr. See whats his reaction..

 

Anyway, i'm also new in CAT. Which paper are you in now?

happypill, I can understand your situation... work tight , no time to revise.

 

Just ignore your colleague. She's insecure so she wants to play mind games with you.

 

I got one colleague like yours but I'm in the opposite position from you. She's taking CAT P10 and she keeps telling me she is revising for exams. When results come out, she's damn show off when she pass her 1 paper... she takes 1 paper per sem so of coz chances are high that she will pass. The previous sem I took 4 modules and didn't do very well, I failed 2 modules because I really couldnt cope. She was gloating over it...she told me serves me right for trying to take so many at one shot.... stupid woman. Everyday when I go work for these few weeks, she keeps doing a mini countdown to my exams for me and keeps telling me what she studies but I just won't answer her and let her talk to the wall....

 

Cannot stand these kind of people.
