SAA main branch really screwed up. Lesson started liao but textbook out of stock. Only available on starting of august and exam was on 20th of august :giddy: :mad:

 

Exams still have to pay and book. $$$$$$$

but i see my work ppl here mostly go thru the ACCA route as its more recognised

 

i learnt from them that even if u clear the RMIT papers in 2 years, still need to go thru CPA australia conversion and things that u learn there is really different and cannot be applied locally.

 

a lot of MCQ which is dangerous.. for eg. they ask abt super annuition. at first u would be thinking WTF is that. study more its actually similar to the CPF system here.

 

upon completion of the CPA conversion then u are a quali CPA australia. still need to convert back to CPA SG.

 

might as well go thru ACCA from the start.

 

ps: the last 3 papers are really a b1tch. many of my frens gave up.

the only ones that i know who cleared is mr bean and another of my colleague who took one mth unpaid leave just to study for the last 3 papers.

 

 

nevertheless, paper qualifications are useless if u cannot work aka. buey cho kang.

therefore, having a good and positive work attitude is equally important.

trying to learn that myself. need to change some negative attitude from poly days

Well, i dun think i wan to study ACCA liao lor.. Too tough... sianz.... :sian:

It could be due changes in the textbook and they need to reprint. :smile:

If you have lecture notes, text books are not that important ... but try to get revision kits with past years questions. Practise, practise and more practise :cheer:

hi guys, i just did my ACCA core paper exams last June seating.. I think have to retake liao, sigh ... :weep:

 

I am from SAA too, for most part of my ACCA studies. I think their system is ok la, at least getting better nowadays. Textbook and revision kit are not useful as some would hoped it should be.... Lecture notes and assignments from the lecturers are much more useful :smile:

anyone taking 1.1 at SAA OUB centre??alamak i stuck on 3rd lesson..jilat..give up soon..dun know what is the lecturer MR Edger teaching

Year 2000 : SP 150 , Kawa, Cagiva Planet 125

Year 2001 : Ducati Monster 400

Year 2003 : Gsxrr 400

Year 2005 : bus n mrt or drive suzuki jimmy

Year 2006 : CBR600--- FZ 52** L

Year 2007 : no more bike liao.. :p

Year 2008 : Suzuki Swift SJB 441Z

Year 2009: Getz SGK 9370G

Year 2010: Planning to get a bike again!

haiz.... as u probably know the june paper was this new examiner's 1st paper that she is setting.... and her english is super super chim... the way she phrased her question.... oh my god... u go and look at it. Some of her words were very technical and the lecturer at the sch at starhub centre (dont wanna mention name) spot everything but all didnt come out... alamak..... :cry:

 

And June was already my 2nd attempt!!! :sian:
