Expensive for a 12 yr old bike

Can you educate me with constructive suggestions that will promote a queue tomorrow morning to view the bike, or an iresistible sensible buy now price?

Well..it looks like a tp bike. Exclusive factor.

I would pay the remaining COE paper price plus 5k for the body. But having said that, the maintenance of this bike is not cheap too. 5K is a lot for a body as the body has no parf or whatever.

Hi Guys, Seller has stated his asking and highly negotiable. If you are interested in his bike please go ahead to contact or PM your offer which provided above. There is no point creating unfriendly comments in his thread. Have some respect for others which I'm sure you wont like it when others did it to your thread as well.

Give face to others and you might earn back someday. Cheers!

Yah I think there's a thread for disgruntled people here. It's called "flip prata" or something. You can go on about this over there. No point being c*nts trying to bully someone out of selling his bike at his preferred negotiable price.

5k for body is fair value. As for the maintenance part, I doubt it's expensive.provided the owner looks after it well before selling

Chill ladies & gentleman...

As long it as comments are constructive, not destructive, it's fine.

Everyone has their own perspective of expensive/cheap/affordable. Most importantly is buyer is able to justify to himself on what he spends on, regardless high or low.

I knew someone paid 12k for 20 year old car, with only 3 months remaining COE & renewed a 46K 10 yrs COE (He said it was in extreme great condition). The body + COE was approx 2~3K only when he bought 3 years back. I said SIAO ARH? Now, the same make/model cars car now, is equivalent to 70k minimum, COE only.

I trust everyone here have the experience of selling/buying including a fair share of bargaining. Same here. Willing buyer/willing seller. Period.

True in a sense. However do note that most bikers are working class people. Not everyone is born with rich parents. If you think your bike is worth such an amount, by all means sell it at the price you like.

If there is a buyer, be honest n tell him what are the things that need repair. Dun lie n say that the bike is problem free.it's an old bike afterall.

Remember, in life, there is karma n retribution. You wanna make profits.... Fine.... Just be honest with the seller as he has allowed you to earn so much. and I am sure 100% that you bought this bike less than 12k

I am very sorry and I meant no hostility. But with all due respect, I HAD to chip in regarding your 1st paragraph, because you have indirectly involve my family and background.

You never really know a man until you understand things from his point of view, until you climb into his skin and walk around in it for a mile.

I myself am also a working class commoner, with dad who lost his the ability to walk (and work) before I was 20, & mum with a broken knee cap. I worked my ()() at every opportunity available from student days, in hope to help keep the family smiling, and balance what I enjoy most. I am actually still working my ()() off for close to 17hrs a day (includes lunch & dinner time =P) over 2 jobs, such that the thing I yearn to have more is time to spend with my loved ones.

Silver spoon or working class, what is most important is one's level of positive attitude, high humility, compassion, grace & empathy, to constantly give their best in every challenge w/o pampering, These shapes positive attributes in character and personality.

As for lying to buyers, I truly second your opinion, as honesty is the best policy. Had 2 bad experience with:

- NSR125 hornet (pwr valve jammed i only found out the following day after taking over the bike)

- Sfera80 (electric starter decided to go on strike on the 3rd day of ownership)

Repairs were in 3 digits and it is pretty substantial as a student back then. I am a firm believer in what goes ard comes ard too. I hope your experience was better then my.

I am not very active in SBF for a while, so I don't I am the best seller for the past 13 years in SBF. But I am fortunate to have made friends with my previous buyers (Keonni on R6 & can't remember nick for VFR), and I am even more happy those machines are better utilized with continued TLCs. Likewise I am also still friends with the sellers I bought 2nd hand from.

Profits, anyone with a mind to be the best, will either maximize it, or minimize their losses. To me it really depends on the genuinity of the buyer.

As for my buying price, this is really interesting as this is my first encounter with a 100% confidence level. Why not go for a wager (beer?) since the odds is extremely positive on your side?

I really don't understand your sentence, It really makes me confuse. Can you tell me what the seller did to take away hard earn money from others? Do you know him personally or have any transaction experience with him previously? Or are you the ex owner of this bike which you know the history or cost of the bike which the seller didn't mention? You can't just trying to be a justice without any prove. btw do you ask the stall owner how much is his cost and how much profit he made from a bowl of wantan noodles he sell you before you order ? I'm sure many here had notice your posting in many others thread basically with similar comments on the TS. I'm not going to off topic too much with respect in this sale thread. Suit yourself be what you wanna be. Period.
