ya.....was considering either a cbr150 or x1...

hhahahaha

..

wad u all suggesst?

Well, for a transport bike for me, I will definately go for X1 or other cubs like wave. X1 looks nicer to me and it has the clutch so it works well on me than getting a wave. But the ultimate decision depends on u cos u r the one that is riding the bike. U gotto like the bike that u r riding if not u everyday ride u also will sian sia..

no problem wan,

a month ago my modenas kriss still have a hand clutch until i convert it back to stock condition and ordered a 135lc . Now riding 135, old kapcai give to papa ride .

A must have if modded the engine for more power, stiff clutch springs to avoid clutch slips will be too hard ( uncomfortable ) to chance gear using the stock foot gear pedal .

maybe convert my lc with a handclutch next year when the new malaysian cubprix season starts .

eeerrr, here i giv a list, i dunno how is the kapcai scene in singapore, but in KL can usually see something like this,

bore it to fit 1.25 piston to 135cc ( i prefer flat top pistons, but dome piston if serious ), skim the block to raise the compression to 12-13:1, valve job and kitaco valves, big carbs or flatslides 25mm-28mm with shortie intake pipes .

Then play with ignitions, TZM coil ( wooohooo, big spark like mini lightning bolts), CDI, platinum or iridium plugs .

tats usually wht they do to get power, then next to brakes and suspensions and bridgestones.

but can expect the maintenance to be like R1

all this mod crap make me :hungry:

Hmm, price wise I am not that sure. For new ones, the last time I heard (about 2 months back) was about $3.5k on the road. Got mine from a fellow mate here and COI. Well, me usually travel at 80km/hr and very happy about it. For 100km/hr, still can lah. But dun expect too much out of a cub kia cos it's meant to save fuel and not to speed bro :thumb:

Whether will spoil or not I think gotto depend on u liao cos u have to do the regular maintaining of the bike loh. As the saying goes 'If u take good care of ur bike, it will take care of u', or maybe that's how I think ba :cheeky:

for spark135 although there is clucth, the direction of the gear changing is still the same as wave meaning you press clutch level & step down to shift gear 1 to gear 4(needs some time to get used to it) different from normal bike also.

Hmm.. I think i prefer bikes with clutch. At least you can control the power and speed of the bike. Though much more ma fan, but at least you get to feel your bike. Maybe it's juz cos i like clutch bikes.
