Bro,

Don't be so open on using the word bribe.

For goods vehicle to enter Malaysia, you will need to register with their Road Department. You will need the support and letter of a Malaysia registered company to undertake that you have business dealings there and will be using the vehicle for transportation of goods. Upon registration, you will need to pay the road tax equivalent to the road tax of their vehicle rates per year. This way, you can enter Malaysia legally with your van.

Else, you can try driving in. The customs usually allow you to pass but the problem is driving back to Singapore. Most likely, you will get stopped at the Malaysia Customs and be slapped with a fine of RM$300. Any other methods, its up to your discretion.

Cheers

Van is not allow into Malaysia, the custom in Singapore will ask U to turn back, let alone clear the custom. As for tolling the Malaysian Tow Truck can only toll halfway thru to the causeway await the Singapore Tow Service to toll the breakdown vehicle back to Singapore.

I also interested in this MY license. Had done mine about 3 years back.

Cost me close to 1.5K, renew only once and then the guy disappear. Didnt look him up as MY custom begin to collect RM200 each time the van leave MY. Not worth for day trip but OK is on several days trip further up north.

BTW can G plate van go up to Thailand. If can, what step or cost are involved, other than the insurance.

limpeiwah, eh lol how come I become notorious? :p
