Minimum is 6mths, i applied 1yr 2mths after ops, when i finished my exams.

 

They do not want ppl with astig 200 n above per eye, even though u have went for LASIK.

from your description, my astig is fine but my myopia readings are 400 and 525. do you think i'll still be accepted (at least for the 1st interview)? if so i might consider going for lasik this coming holidays. thanks in advance!

I applaud your academic achievement but at the same time, I do sympathize your psychological imbalance and mental incapability. Perhaps its really true that one can never have the best of both world. im not sure abt myopia's limit. if possible, do check with others who are undergoing training or have passed out. sorry i cant help u on myopia, only know astig's limit though. haha.

 

but whatever it is, going thru LASIK is one of the best thing to have happen in my life. and passing out from NTU is another. haha!

other airlines in singapore dun have training program or no training program based here... so unless you have a licence of your own, chances of being selection is slim. you tried SIA already? if not why are you so sure you wont be selected????

yeah unless MAS or Air Asia opens up their selection to us as well... like what SIA is doing. doubt so though since they have ready supply of cadets unlike us... or is SIA expectations too high?

These pilots onboard are foreigns,their accent sounds indian on the freq..when they reply not a single word is heard clearly, but clearance given as usual since its a normal A/C which fly batam and sg everyday at least twice...

can try seletar flying club.. ppl working there are friendly and good..

but need to join as members...
