i was at Loois last friday and on Mr Lee's desk, some photos of the tenere...

Mr Lee said the bike will be coming very soon..when i told him not another false hope again...he said, this time it's for real..but limited numbers and the price is around the price of the new Transalp700...

So,you all willing to pay 21grand for a big single....:clapping:

maybe i will wait until any of you intends to sell it after using it for awhile...

21Grand for a XT Tenere ?? Daylight Robbery !! Its selling for 7k Euro in Germany . wow ... markup of 50% ? ... tsk tsk tsk ....

If you want to compare, in US a DR650 out of door price (locally known as On-the-Road) is only USD4999. A DR650 costs even less in Australia, probably due to favorable SGD-AUD exchange rate.

For BMW bikes, singaporeans assholes get torn even more :D

But, there is really not much we can do about it if you really want it bad. :shades:

For 21k i rather wait for ural sahara to come to sg. can fit more thing, got bigger boxes and it's 2 wheel drive

Is the ural really coming to sg ??

Hard to digest paying 21G for a big single ... tsk tsk ...

well...for 21k for a big single...i would rather keep that 21k of loan for god knows how many years loan...and i still have my 3 bikes to ride even if 1 down,i got 2 more...but if i were to trade all 3 just to accomplish that 1 pathetic 21grand bike, which value will drop more than 1/4 of it once i step out of the showroom, not very wise move eh...

The market price of a DS bike is getting more and more pathetic...when price of the bike gets higher, chances to see the rider's who bought that bike to ride it in a very nasty terrain where the bike is meant to be ridden,is getting lower.

Hello... back to the tenere pleassssse....:)

Anyway i personally went down to check with HL and the reply was 'in talks with the factory'. Nothing is confirm yet.

And on a side note, at the showroom building, be prepared to pay $1.50 for parking at the loading bay. I was asked to pay when i was leaving just after 10mins...:argue: Had a evil thought of burning down the guard post with the women screaming inside:bouncefire:

alamak... 21k for a single thumper is very expensive single. And add $1.50 for parking is also very expensive parking for 10min. Even pml parking is free.

Weight is not a problem for me when i am speeding down the h'way:angel:

The tenere is made to go long distances at fairly fast speeds over unimproved roads. It needs to be heavy.

One more pic for you to lust... one FREAKING nice looking blue from the REAR!:thumb:

I believed the bike is a showcasing on some events under Touratech dept...

So to avoid viewers to release the mainstand and sit on it,they put those straps...
