thou LAB is Jack of all trade, for AGV helmets, advisable to go to Regina for view/try/purchase?

& ya, they are linked.

Regina is facing the main road, Jln Besar, LAB is inside, Kelantan Lane.

dress for the fall, not for the ride....

Go as far as you can see; when you get there, you'll be able to see farther.

other people always said that full face (to a lesser extent, flip-up full face) helmet and gloves are compulsory when riding...

I would wear my flank jacket as well whenever I'm riding for more than 3 minutes... anyway, you mean you can survive the freezing cold at night or after rain without a jacket...? no right? hehe...

if you need to keep yourself looking presentable, you might want to carry the full set of rain suit + shoe covers... anyway, I think you have yet to ride in wild wild wet conditions... lol I hate it when cars zoom past me and *splash* me with a wave. damned...

the home-made plastic wrap is only useful in drizzles... which means you won't bother about in the first place...

in a light rain, the pants is gonna be drenched.

as for your shoes... it doesn't matter what material... water can still seep in... once your feet/socks are wet its good game for you... of course if you are a frequent rider (which I dun think so) you can invest in a good pair of riding boots...

slippers is the epitome of SLOPPY dressing! but sigh a lot of singaporeans like that, so I have no comments...

and, no one likes riding a bike feeling "exposed" right...?

safety boots... have to be careful with those... the steel toe might cut off your toes if the boot is folded... PCK styled boots... lol... maybe can keep feet dry...

if you are looking for proper protection maybe consider riding boots for track use... e.g. sidi vortice 2009... but I think its overkill for daily riding..

Vidak: well, to a true blue biker, rain is nothing at all.

suit on, & off we go.

to me, rain is just part & parcel of riding.

& for the record, I just busted my 4th rain pants this year. sheesh... :sian:

jtzx: best footwear for the wet, goretex.

nt the SAF issued goretex boots, but a proper riding boots thats built with rain resistant materials.

flip flops are a no no when it rains. because, touchwood, anything happens, you wont want an open wound being flush by constant rain.

For daily riding, a proper riding boots is more than sufficient.

(& Im still saving for a decent pair of sidi since my last one's gone...)

I don't mind riding in the rain...

I mind getting drenched before I manage to even open my sidebox to take out the rainsuit :weep:

hmmm... I shall try keep my rain suit intact for as long as possible... or is it that you are skimping on at least a decent rainsuit...? lol

If riding boots are too inconvenient you can always get a pair of rain shoe covers.
