yup.. in the discovery channel programme, they put cooking oil and it continued running.. put lots of weight and the bike could still take the rider to places.. throw it down from 6 stories high the bike could still start.. so yea, amazing tough ride. can find the vid in youtube..

hi all. would like to ask if lets say your TA200 have not been starting for lets say a week. would it be able to start?

get one with a kick start..ta150..then no//low battery still can start..

yeah...good virgin ride...150km round trip for me...

i am happy that the 16 years old baby still can do it..

the ride home was fast...doing 80 to 100 km/hr once in singapore..

 

a great thank you for silent...hamster, nation and all those who guided us ..

didnt waste any time at all...the ride was as planned..

we have quite a number of knights using shoei... myself included...

 

for your budget, you are probably getting the lower range of shoei helmets (nevertheless far better than your $50 helmet)... maybe you can have a look at one of chong aik's branches... I would recommend powerstar branch along jalan besar, which is opposite regina

it's possible for me to up my budget to $400 for a FF helmet. I don mind 2nd hand near new/seldom worn helmets if it fits my head nicely.

 

how do i actually measure my head size to determine what size of the helmet should i get? possible to bargain down prices at chong aik or are the prices nett?

you will never know what happened to the helmet if you are buying it second hand... if the helmet has hit the ground before it shouldn't be used again...

 

don't worry about your head size... they will let you try on the different sizes... and yes you can bargain at powerstar... the other branches are kind of stubborn with their price

your budget falls somewhat in the middle.. (looking at abt 300-400) so i guess you have to decide a bit.. if its your first FF.. you may want to try out perhaps with a lower end one before making a bigger investment?

It's called... quick release. No joke! Can get at most bicycle shops or retail outlets that carry bicycles accessories.

most condos have discarded bikes...

not really... like most of us who wore specs.. normally we put on helmet then slot in our clear sweet specs.
