half face, open face & flip up.

 

Which guys here wears boxers or thongs?

 

For me, everything depends on my mood.

 

Half-face = short trip in the neighbourhood

Open face = hot day

Flip-up = long ride

 

Boxers = wanna hang loose

Briefs = secure & functional

Thongs = when I feel like having something stuck up my @$$ crack

If you're using iPhone, there's a cheaper option. You can get the Biologic iPhone mount and purchase one of the gps application. Or just use the pre-install Google Map which to me is good enuf, as I managed to find all the ULU places with it!

 

You can even take pictures(not advisable as need to press click button) and videos (just let is run b4 moving off). Quality is not bad and I've captured some quite good footages.

about S$300... depends on what kind of meter you get... something like ben's meter could be very accurate when adjusted correctly...

well... a proper flip up is not supposed to release the front upon impact... so the only flip up to recommend would be zeus 3000 which has passed the snell test...

 

And vicky was telling me about this CHEAP meter selling for ONLY $300..... i guess he's rich...

 

I didn't say it was cheap... and it was already on my bike before I took over it... :weep:

it's A-GPS (assisted GPS)

 

so it depends on cellular and data networks....

 

pro: i heard it works underground .. (in tunnels :angel:)

 

con: doesn't work if there's no network.. (in jungle or far away land when u need the GPS the most...:dot:)

 

am not using my data plan for gps:) I off the " A gps"

Zeus shld be abt 200-300, full kit + conversion to open face.

 

Nolan I forgot liao, shld be abt 300-500 bah.... cannot convert open FYI.
