Hi Fellow Kawa Riders,

 

There will be a event organized by Motorculture and Kawa dealer Evershine for our support of Kawasaki,

 

There will be free afternoon buffet brunch and Special Kawasaki Jetski trailouts for us Kawa riders. Venue will be the Marina Country Club.

 

Interested riders can just leave their names/Nicks - prefered date and time and contacts. I'll contact them to set up the buffet and location for us. This is the first time Evershine is trying to reward us for supporting kawa and hopefully helping us set up a club for future sponsored outings like this one.

 

Event : Kawasaki Rider Meet up with Jetski Trailout.

Date : TBC (best Weekends)

Location : Marina Country Club.

Gathering place : KKFC or any suggested place to ride over as a group.

my guess is since i was the first fella to place order for the paniers and carrier/rack, he needed to wait n 'tompang' other shipments so as to save cost. also yeah, their shop's downside is that they dun do installation. the total cost was errrm...a bit ex but considering they were new top shelf products, and also could be due to shipping costs. ard 1.4k

yes it does altho i dunno y i had to get it seperately. each pannier basically needs 2 locks - one for the top lid and the other for locking on to the carrier. but the shop does carry stock jus puzzled as to y it had to be bought as additional stuff. 5 bux each

i guess the top box will require 2 locks as well?

 

the alu trax is not too popular here in spore yet so i guess the shop is prob. learning as well.

First Ever Versys Owners Gathering/Overnighter

 

fellow V riders,

 

the first Versys Owners gathering is planned as follows :

 

Venue : Cameron Highlands

Date : Saturday/Sunday 1st/2nd November, 2008

 

Accommodation : @ Brinchang Police District HQ dormitory

(basic n rm10 per pax), subj to availability.*

 

Meeting Point : Ipoh before convoy to Brinchang, using the Simpang Pulai route.

(spore/seremban/kl/pj riders can meet at jejantas, sg. buloh n convoy to ipoh - time to be adv later)

 

 

Departing : Sunday mid-morning after breakfast.

 

Other Notes :

 

* Dormitory option will be Brinchang Police District HQ…toilet with warm water and bunk type or double decker beds…@RM10/- per head.

 

Up to the majority….we can meet up at Ipoh…a mini tour n sight seeing for out station bikers ….snap lotsa picts for our new website ….then go up CH and teh tarik there. n snap some more fotos .....

 

We can have lunch somewhere along the way ….go up CH, yackity-yak over some Strawberries, tea and scones or muffins, ride around the hills then hit town for a good steamboat dinner.

 

And ride down Sun Morning after getting some good breakfast at the astaka…and a quick stop to buy something to take home…...

We plan to set up our own website (http://www.kawavog.com) = kawasaki versys owners group. hence need inputs on layout, moderators, future meetings n rides, badge/sticker (suggest we use the skull headlight - anyone here good at graphics ?).

 

let's meet up n brainstorm n also enjoy the ride/fellowship n oggle at each others bikes.

update on the 1st Versys Owners Group ride :

 

date : sat/sun 1st n 2nd november, 2008

 

destination : cameron highlands, staying at the polis training base in brinchang. rm10 pax

 

meeting point 1 : sg. buloh jejantas rest stop (on the N/S highway) 9.30 am on sat 1st nov.

 

meeting point 2 : simpang pulai caltex station (just before ipoh town) 11.30 am, sat 1st nov.

 

twenty plus versys owners hve signed up, including two from spore !.

 

join us n be part of VOGue (Versys Owners Group ultimate experience) !.
