I like your set up. Light and good. May I ask how much did you pay for the top box plus rack...?

Do you have a clearer picture on the express tank bag...?

Thanks bro. The cost breakdown is,

Toprack - 240

H&B Adapter Plate - 62

H&B Xplorer 45 - 550

Ill see if can get a better picture of the tank bag sometime soon.

Hand very itchy to a bigger top box. I am currently using a 40 liters Shad plastic box for short day trip. Spares and repair kits are strap down with spider net buggy cord.

Some accessories you may want to consider installing after getting your baby.

esthermygs...congrats on the new buy and welcome on board.

The Givi/Kawa V35 side panniers are aesthetically pleasing and can store a helmet but are not 100% waterproof.

Since new my V35 side panniers are letting some water in when riding or parked in the rain.

Another negative point abt the V35 is the weak landyard that support the panniers when they are in the open position.

Nope. They did not forget. Checked my log card. No IU was registered. Sleezy...

Strange. I've bought a few bikes from Loois and this has never happened. They've always been upfront. No funny business.

Oh and BTW welcome aboard...

Exactly! i previouly bought 2 bikes from Loois and IUs are automatic included in. No questions asked.

But my versys no questions asked and yet no IU. If its not included..at least tell me and I top up money to get it done to save the trouble.

Tried calling Eileen of Loois but she's off. I'll wait till monday and check again... :(

Bought my V from Loois and the IU and bracket is included in the deal.

It only fair unless upfront the buyer said he dont want IU else i would expect the IU to be fitted.

May be a comms failure or someone overlook the details.

Anyway i have a few spare genuine Kawasaki OEM oil filters P/No 16097-0004, cos i also like to DIY simple maintenance.

Also have OEM clutch cable and full set of frt & rear brake pads.

If anybody need these items you can PM me.

Can replenish my spares as going to Korat/Thailand to work again in mid June.

To those who wants to buy a Versys 650 but are worried about spares availability.

I say No Worrries spares a plenty and much cheaper in Thailand.

The Versys 650 is assembled in Thailand Kawasaki factory though some of the parts are still made in Japan.

Plus i wanted to buy the oil filter for DIY oil change after run in...Loois got no stock. Said have to order.

Maybe the rumours of "Kawasaki spares hard to get" is coming true.

On the contrary, I wld dare say the new Kawaii bikes are now have the best support in term of spares. Of course none of the credit goes to Nevershine. :p

anyway, i miss wildcard.

Loois said they overlooked and miss out the ERP. Need to ride the bike down again and they will fix it up.

Hiahz...need to waste half a day again..but at least save me $150.

Where do you intend to install the IU unit...?

My IU is a removable unit. I will remove it when I am going for a long trip.
