I'm just back from melaka 3 days ago.. Haha.. 09 model indeed got quite some vibration to handle.. Overall still manageable. Averaging at 130+ with pillion.. Without protective gears.

Must have enjoyed your virgin trip to Malacca. Anyway the vibration that i experience during my ride up north will fade away when the rpm crosses 5500. I wonder if there is any difference in the engine balancer for the later generation of Vx.

Yes. think it works. its the only option to lower the VS650...by the linkage. No other choice I can see liao.

There is another option which is replace the suspension to bitubo. One of our member have it.

What top and side rack are you using? It looks like SW Motech Top Rack and H&B side rack...

Saw a new Black coloured V 650 on Looi's showroom on Friday 29 June.

Got mine in mid June 2011 together with the V 35 boxes and kawasaki bracket, 1st party Ins for 22K OTR.

 

Caught Mr Lee in a good mood that day i guess or prices may have appreciated since.

Some bikeshop will sell cheaper but want you to take high loan.

 

So far from my experience, Looi's, Teo Spray and De Xing pay cash or HP is up to buyer once price is agreed.

 

It's always good to do your own grd work and ask ard first before committing.
