Ahuh, at universal, saw it there.

Almost. considering, maybe, perhaps

what do you think about it?

for me i just see a bike with olskool technology. 500cc single cylinder. max speed 120kmph. supposedly long lasting engine, if maintain nicely. if it can take india's road beating, should be no problem on our road.

think bike is made in India.

See quite a lot of them there.

500cc... Nice looking Vintage Bike.

india there still in production..they bought the license or something...alot of the 350 and 500cc...then very weird...gear is on right side...kick up 1st gear..then down all the way.... brake's on left foot..but front brake is on right handlebar still...

damn nice to ride for a while...but the engine abit like harley leh...deep bass

From the ice cream man bike aka my little black lamb RX100..to All Blacks Bandit 400, to the legendary 1285 bandit;)

most likely it can't perform like a japanese bike. it's more like antique replica to me. so i don't think you can ride like a japanese bike.

just like harley ... no offense to harley owner. i can't appreciate harley. only for good looks and status thingy for me. the best harley is either a sportster or v-rod. anyway, i used to be a harley owner too ...

the new harleys sounds like a sewing machine :faint:

royal enfields bikes are on BIKE magazines' avoid list. ever wondered why?

It could be they have already been listed under the classic magazine I have read up the other day.

Well...for a high CC single cylinder u can't expect much speed from this bike. But its simply for ppl who jus love antique stuff.

Ridden it ones b4 in india abt 3yrs back. But i think heard from somewhere those imported by universal motor the gear system n all is same as normal bikes.

Heard Enfield released a new model called Thunder Storm if i m not mistaken also ard 500cc. This model the gear shift n brakes is like normal bikes. Comes with e-start no need to kick. Hopefully this comes with some HP as well.

Universal Motors,

THis being a new model and such low HP, interested to test ride to appreciate the power delivery. I do not dare to buy a bike without test riding. I am current ridig a 250cc and not a power freak and I think a demo unit is in order here. What are your commitments to spare parts? Are the parts available elsewhere besides the agent? How are the pricing relatively to common models?

Cheers,
