2 stroke bike problem

hi guys, i have a question.. normal when i ride my bike, when i close the throttle, the speed and rpm supposed to drop, but now when i ride and i close throttle the rpm didnt drop it remains the same and the speed is still the same although i have closed the throttle.. it has happened for around 2 days already and i reali feel its very dangerous.. wat could be the problem, could it be the throttle cable needs to change.. or carburator.. thanks in advance..

Probably your throttle cable, if your bike is running on a carb instead an EFI, chances are that the cable attached to your carb is not oiled enough, or there is some blockage. Resulting in the throttle not being able to close/open smoothly enough when you wish to do so.

 

Try opening and closing the throttle with the engine switched OFF, if there is some tension and no springiness i.e. the throttle doesn't return to zero when you release your grip, take your bike in for servicing of the throttle and carb.

hi, it doesn't cost much , ard $20 to $30 buck max for 2 stroke , i ride a rxk it happen to me once i took out the carb and service(if u know what to do) than everything ok liao.
