1) After the first 10 years have passed, COE can be renewed for either 5 or 10 years right? Am i also correct to say that it can only be renewed once?

 

2) Alternatively, we can choose to scrap the bike?? Just bring to any bike shop? How is the scrap value determined? I presume it will be very low?

 

Just curious...but i think many bikers actually dun go thru this phase...cos ppl these days change bikes so often...way before 10years are up.

if coe is renewed for 5yrs d bike has to b scraped at d end of it. but if u renewed it for 10yrs, at d end of it u can stil renew again for another 5 or 10 yrs n d process repeats itself.

Yes.. U can renew either 5 0r 10 yrs.. U can renew ONCE ONLY IF U RENEW 5YRS NOW.. If renew for 10yrs, u can still renew again after that..

Be happy that the shop dun charged u for the admin fee and etc..

Ppl still renew their bike's COE if the bike still in good condition and still have value.. Eg: Sp, RXZ, CBR4 , RVF.. etc...

Bo bian mah.. The Coe is up.. And they need to tow the bike to scrapyard.. And Still need to do paperwork for scraping.. All this they sure charge u one..
