That suzuki bigboy looks like it will make a very sensible commuting and petrol saving bike in SG. TO stay on topic it looks like a standard bike out of the 70's..

Is it available here?

many of these bikes are not available in SG due to the lack of market, unfortunately.

Wonder if the KAwa Estrella is still available.

  • 3 weeks later...

Anyone knows where I can find 30inch broad 5-6 inch height handlebars with 7/8 inch diameter or similar....?

I want to mod my handlebar yet again to change the feel of the ride.

Many Thanks

What are you looking for; more relax bars? I recall some thunderbird at the British forum had the handlebar replace to the one from the Triump cruiser 900cc can't recall its name but starts with "V'. It suppose to fit like it was made for it..if I had bought Richard's Tbird, I would have considered that direction.

Btw, Richard has kept his Tbird cause he mentioned his overseas venture was cancelled. He changed a few parts for few hundred dollars just to continue riding. Anyway, considering that his wasn't %100 roadworthy, the sale price wasn't good enough. So o.k.

By the way i've modded it to a matt black 28" width, 4" height, broad MX handlebar.

It's 1 inch higher so my shoulders sit more comfortably.

If you are really keen on Thunderbird, i will keep a lookout and post here if any available. So far i only know of 4 Thunderbords in the whole of Singapore though.

cheers

hi marco83........i think the scrambler900 looks sucks...it is better to be on Bonnerville America or Thunderbird.....it is more of that 'Triumphy' looks.....well that's only an opinion.

..........decided 2 do?.....then do it!.......2 do nothing is 2 get nothing..........

I saw an absolutely wicked looking Triumph :thumb: (I think its a Bonneville) at Sembawang a couple of days ago, Malay owner.

I'll have to say this is the first time I've seen a Triumph classic up close & personal. The exhaust note was mesmerizing!

My question is, the bike had an FBA plate: Are these bikes still available new in Singapore? I only recall seeing Rocket III & Daytona (If I remember correctly) at Mah.

Mah may be bringing in the bikes but their service in terms of getting parts are still not up to standard.

Yes NA, I will be there tomorrow nite (i'm still in Jkt now).

You want cigar? not a problem at all.

See you.
