notice I replaced my brake hoses with Swage PLot steel Braided ones?

it's something i've been wanting to do for so long but was lazy....until that nite you mentioned about it. Then i told myself to get it done once and for all.

calipers were flushed and brake fluid replaced together with the hoses. Braking power improved but would be more solid if I had twin calipers in front instead of single.

 

I also wanted to put on Goodridge as that was what I used for my Kawasakis.

but they didnt have the "measure and cut" type anymore.

I needed 87cm infront and 52cm behind which is quite rare.

 

In the end, I used 85cm front and 56cm rear which work just as well.

Only Swage Plot available. Price quite reasonable so didnt think twice.

I meant the calipers were cleaned.

 

I wont go track with this bike. shocks too soft front and back.

Which shop doing Hel brake hoses will you receommend?

I was lazy so didnt bother to search.

 

Perhaps I'll take the TBird out for a ride tonight after dinner.

Planet Motor got HEL S/S line, front and rear cost $200 with installation.i just changed last saturday.

 

Vector one quote me $235 for line & installation.

$150 for 3 brake line applicable to any bike model? That is dirt cheap! However, do they include bleeding and cleaning of caliper? I did enquired regarding HEL brake line for my model and was quote $290 for overall package. The one thing about Speigler, its swivel banjo is aluminum, not steel. Since brakes get flush annually, the strength of steel outweighs the lightweight and non-corrosive nature of aluminum.

yes, if im not wrong. last i spoke to joshua. promo now, 3 lines for 150, any model. and they do include everything.
