DISCUSSION/KOPI SESSION LOCATION:

McDonalds @ Ridout Tea Garden

Address: Queensway (Road)

Locality: South-western SG, vicinity of Holland, few metres from Commonwealth MRT

Getting there:

• AYE exit Portsdown Ave., travel northwards.

• PIE exit Adam Rd., travel southwards.

 

 

KOPI SESSION DATE/TIME:

2nd February

Saturday at 2200hrs.

 

 

Actual Tracksession Dates to be decided upon! during the kopi session:

Feb: 4th mon, 5th tue, 11th mon,

March: 3rd mon, 7th fri

(session to be held in the morning)

 

 

Highlights of this meeting:

1. Suitable track session date (fyi: it's still pending)

2. Preparation: recommended bike checks, things to bring

3. Going there: route, petrol stops

4. Being there: where to park, hourly slots, track fees

5. On-the-track: Very basic glimpse of the 12 turns, entrance/exit to pits, proper ethics (in light of the major accident that happened at PG)

6. Q and A session.

 

This is a good time to get to know each other better, sip some teh-tarik and to discuss basic Johor Circuit

 

(PG) essentials, all before we head to the track proper. Got a lot to discuss and plan, to get to know each other's "no-go" dates and to form a consensus -- get a date/time that everybody is comfortable with.

 

This discussion is an "open" one. Don't shy; do treat this event as an informal Q and A session too if you're unsure about something.

Knowledgeable individuals are also encouraged to contribute your knowledge on that day, if you feel we need to know as well.

 

As said before, I would like to see all of you guys for the pre-tracksession meetup. Seeya there!

5. crusher - 50/50. unable till 29/01 due to work commitments. Feb onwards. (rider)

6. syxby - Mon or Tue of every week if not bz wit sch works. (rider)

7. chlim - interested only due to work commitments and raining season. (rider)

8. Diamond_Crust - Any Fridays will do, cos sat not working and can rest. (Spectator)

9. sabbaha - weekdays. Will try to suit the date chosen (spectator) S4, yishun.

10. Wen gege - i m abit slow. lol. but do count mi in. 1st timer. stil a newbie to track.

11. fearmenot - Interested party, but let me know the date.. Rider or Spectator cos i haven get my stuffs yet...
