sorry guys...yesterday cant make it cos unreasonable reason..

as i say my bike is still stock condition and i am very newbie to bike..

nothing to share with veteran but got alot of things to learn from u all..

haha...nex meet up in sg i will attend..

so so sorry...

normally SG meetups a little fruitless, just sitting around drinking lots of soft drink and chatting, we prefer the JB pump and wash sessions as it has a agenda, pump petrol and was bike while having a chat.

Do consider, we can form a formation of escort for you.

Still stock condition is good, but try to change your tyres, especially during this wet weather, the stock tires are really not good at all, it should cost about $110 to $150 for a decent pair. The rest you can leave it to stock.

Call me when you are free, you are quite near my place right?

Wooo!

spent 2 hours washing and polishing my bike...

Now its pretty shiney.. :cheeky:

sighs! but think it'l rain and all my effort will be wasted..

At least you already polish your bike I think if it contact with rain water all you need is to just wipe it to maintain the shine...but for my bike now its like I have gone riding offroad haha coz beside my workplace is still undergoing construction...hehe!

bros, maybe next time will exchange bike for the drag race in JB. den the "load" will be fair? hehehe...

no point you have better "aerodynamics"

I suspect you have a bottle of "NOX" hidden somewhere on your bike, that's why you pulled away from us so easily.

cover your bike if you park in the open to avoid corrosion and water seaping into your tank

Ride safe and bright.

try thr garage sales in this forum, some people are selling very good condition original Honda mirrors, look under the S4 mirrors they should fit our bikes.

Most of the aftermarket mirrors give very limited vision, might as well don't put.

Just my 2 cents worth.

the first thing i change when i got my bike is the front brake hose. After riding it for a week, i found that the brake is not good enough. somehow it takes a longer distance to stop. I change it to a steel brake hose at ah boy.

i tried jam brake to test the stock tyres frictionality. i was impressed that it doesnt skid. thus i believe the stock tyres are good enough but i will test it on a wet road surface to reconfirm.

i am still looking for a shop that can do rim paint. will update if i found the right one.

Hi there,

glad you are considering the CBF 150, but not to sound rude, there are 46 pgs of feedback if you care to read. Not to sound as if the same topics are being repeated over again.

Would like to keep the forum alive with fresh topics if possible.

a little confused, changed brake hose but you said that the stock tyres are good, kinda of not related right.

Steel braided brake hose with stock IRC tyres on a wet road, is a combination for a skid, brake gradually, you might just lock the front wheel.

not mistaken, those are E45 boxes on the side. The boxes are too big for our bikes. Also the stock suspension will wear out faster with the additional load. The wingrack itself is quite heavy, I think too much of preload weight.

A better box would be the E21 smaller capacity but looks a lot more slimmer.

Installing wingrack means you will have to give up the pillion handle.

Me 95 kgs

GF 60 kgs

3 boxes 15 kgs (empty)

still can run at 100 kmh definitely no power at times but spoken to some pulsar riders they say the same thing.

So CBF is still the best bet as mentioned before hate the idea of depending on one source for spare parts like for the pulsar, the only place to get their spares is from Universal Motors

Hi bro,

i suppose u hv 3 boxes on yr bike?:thumb:

Mind sharing wat sort of rack u r using n where u install it?

cheers

Initially i used the universal rack that is provided with the boxes but found them too flimsy.

So I got mine customised at abt $300 from Sengkwang in AMK, the best stainless steel fabricators that I know in SG, their jobs are guarranteed.

which area are you from? if from the west, feel free to meet up to have a look.

Or join us for the JB session tonight.
