Hey fellow R6 bros, im using scottoiler for my R6 and the chain is still showing signs of rust. Though i notice the inner part of the chain is still wet with oil. Darn the rainy season. Any solution? I dislike grease as it tends to fling off and makes it hard to remove at the rims. (I do cover my bike except when caught in the rain, bike has to take a shower:cry:)

try maxima chain wax...solve all the rust problem....spray only on the outer part since you have scottoiler...

im goin to thai for 3 months on dec.the bike will be untouch for 3 months since im away

what r the important parts that i shld remove from my bike? other than the batt?

 

what will happen to my bike if its nt turn on for 3 months? damages? shld i change my engine oil b4 i go for my trip? thanks dudes. quite sad to leave my bike...

Wat my overseas frenz do with their bike are :-

Drain the fuel totally..prevents oxidations..

Pressure up their tires to prevent deforms

for the engine oil..they leave it in..

as u can't drain it out totally unless u strip the engine..

so no harm having them on..they don degrade or break their compound that fast or easily without pressure..

Detach the batt. contacts..prevent total drain of batt.

Have bike super secured,Covered definately with ample parking coupon validation if needed..

Weekly have someone juz check out ur bike making sure parts are intact or not Stolen..

U can ask ur preferred or Favourite bikeshop to have ur bike leave/Park there..

definately got ppl look after it day in,day out..

as they need to push bike in & out..

 

If something goes wrong when ur back..bike is already at bike shop..so very easy to take care or settle it out..:thumb:
