okay thanks for your input! havent done it before, but i guess 92 fuels will cause engine knocking am i right?

R6 are tuned from factory to run on 91 octane. Running 92 will not cause knocking.

oh! i read somewhere in the manual that states 'required to run on premium unleaded RON 95 or higher" leh. maybe 08' above has higher compression ratios therefore diff petrol requirements?

I would say the manufacturer knows best. Besides, why would you put 92 petrol in a high performance sportsbike?

Reserve tank can go till how many KM?

To prevent engine get hotter, I will cut engine run when at red traffic light, then turn start again when turn green, here comes the question,

Does this wear down spark plug faster? is it bad for spark plug, battery?

Alot of countries don't have 95 readily available. So they use 91 or 92. I use 95, as I personally don't find difference running 95, 98 or v-power.

Those with bazzaz or Power commander might feel the difference though.

I'm guessing mileage wise around 40-50km?.If possible try not to go into reserve everytime you pump, your fuel pump is cooled by the fuel, might go out faster.

Starting your bike requires alot of battery power, so I'm guessing the battery might die faster? Just a guess.

Spark plugs will probably be ok. Your starter motor probably won't like it though :)

reserve tank is 3.5L. so an average reserve tank will go around 18x3.5=max 60km. but i normally dont test it haha. i normally pump when the reserve light comes on.

i just flushed my radiator and changed coolant, i realise the fan doesnt come on as easily anymore, maybe you wanna try that. the batt and starter relay and motor may not like the frequent start stop haha.

just feel more shiok if i pump 98 even though i dont really feel the difference haha! more of a psychology thing. i usually pump 95 most of the time as well. :)

i did mine at bikeworkz. $25 for maxima-aide coolant and another $15 if you wanna use blu-coral to flush. i think its free if you use water to flush, but normally people flush and change coolant once around 1.5-2yrs so why not spend that extra bit of money :)

they sell both types. Price wise not too sure whether they're the same.
