Mine fail with led signal light & a corroded header, esp the weld mark that "not smooth" and they deem "cut&weld" mark

it is not LTA compliant, but inspection may/may not pass depending on your contacts haha. but so far i see most sportbikes having tail tidies on the road but from my knowledge TP will not catch you just for tail tidy unless your bike very catchy, loud or bling bling.

Manual says its the charging system.

 

Just changed battery, starter carbon a week ago.

Changed my starter relay about a month ago also.

u onli left with 2 items, magnetic coil n rectifier.

starter carbon n relay is to start the motor which inturn spin e magnetic coil to generate electric n charge up e battery

I would suggest you do a check on your rectifier and magnetic coil. Sometimes, it might not be the coil or the rectifier itself, but just the connectors. Fix em and you'll be fine. If the connectors are fine then you gotta look into replacing the coil or rectifier. A reputable shop will be able to diagnose the issue for you. Reputable need not actually be famous shops hahaha.

Just went to my shop.

Checked the batt & rectifier connections & all look fine, no burnt marks or anything.

Mech revved it up and theres no change in the batt voltage.

It remained at ard 12v.

 

Means its not charging right?

 

From what i read on other R6 forums, this means the stator/alternator/magnetic coil gone bad.

If the rectifier is at fault, the voltage should instead be above 15v?

 

Correct me if im wrong. Scratching my head also hahah
