1)Abit overprice imho..Last I change 1 yr ago on my own was SGD150 for the magnet coil which is also known as stator .Bought it at Auto Machineries .(Two outlets,one at Frontier Ubi ,the other at Rowell Rd)

The magnet coil is located on the left side of the engine(Correct me if I am wrong).I am riding R6s.When changing the magnet coil,we will also need to change the gasket(a material that close up the gaps between the metals).

 

Connecting the magnetic coil is idiot proof as the connector is female and male.Will go no wrong.

 

Only exception is we will require to change the eo when opening up the engine casing to replace magnet coil as it will result the eo leaking.Hence,draining it prior to changing is require.

Anyone has experience with error code 12? This is a on and off problem for my bike, Sometime dont have sometime have. Crankshaft position sensor error, Its not receiving any signal from starter or smt, but its on and off problem wondering what can be done?

Bro nash,I experienced the same problem and code,turns out to be the starter carbon.Total damage--$150 at Planet motors for towing+labour+spare part

 

Take about 1-3 hours to rectify this problem

Ohhh, i was searching online, the bike would just give a clicking sound and wont start, looks like its a common problems after searching online too, but got so many possibilities ! hahah aiyohhh,

its fly by wire..

being young i reckon t insurance is ex.

brand new no problem...

but it is a well known r6 prob..

 

r6 ... the fun starts after 9k rpm..

if u interested in track..u can pm me.. old man here cruising in track due to boredom..
