anyway subzero found a nice place @ serangoon gardens. the beer there is cheaper than mels.. and the owner rides a rs250. so i think there would have audible sound. cos at mels we could hardly hear.

so this place can watch motogp ? If yes then good nearer to my place :lovestruck:

But at full throttle top speed 90% of the way, it drops to just under the distance from kulai back to GP Esso. More precisely, you'll run out just around the last bend opposite the petrol station. I still rem some ****er backfire me while I was doing my great malaysian workout pushing my bike

Only Scotts Rotary Damper has both low/high speed valve.

Clik on the attachment below!

great prod.. also not trying to promote. but just that it helps settle high speed slaps and frenly to commuting speed. Some might not that high a damping force and thus a non high speed one is sufficient.

But it did took me quite a while to get it set at least for high speed NS highway with so many unknowns... makes your ride much more confident.. especially on the B-roads.

wat are low/high speed valve settings?

non adjustable is basically a damper with only 1 valving. You set it hard and it will cure the sudden high speed/vel steering slaps, which also translates to hard steering at low riding speeds.. ie, very hard to turn the handlebars at u-turns and carpark turns.

Dampers with high n low speeds bascially means there are 2 valving system internally--> a primary valve that works at lower hard settings. At any higher vel slaps, the secondary valve activates and the primary is considered null. That is why it take a little while to set the high n the low to work together. IE.. u ride fast and the slaps are harsh, you start turning the low speed knob to harder n harder. This solves the high speed slaps but then u realized that you cannot steer well at low speeds. thats when you will need to start turning the high speed knob (to solve the high speed slaps) and at the same time you will need to turn the soft setting knobs softer to enable proper steering at low speeds.

When tuned properly, the slow speed setting knob's postion will give you a proper low speed ride without hard steering, yet when you encounter a high speed slap, the high speed valve takes over to provide the "hard" damping. Very similar of how the high speed compression works on the forks n shocks.

Hyper-pro has a RSC model that serves the same purpose of a high/low speed characteristics of the scotts or GPR. the only difference is the hyper-pro is speed sensitive (a bit similar to the HESD of Honda's, but its mechanical instead of electronic) and you cannot determine where exactly the high speed damping comes in. But the pro is you need not tune like siao.

hope these helps.:cheeky:
