alone:-

1. side stand down, bike leaned left

2. sit on bike remove dipstick and clean it

3. put it back, straighten the bike upright for a few secs

4. with you still on the bike, pull out the dipstick and check (make sure the bike is not leaned to the right as you do it)

 

if you have a bike stand, lagi better! if not, 2 person shall be enough n self explainatory. Hope these helps.

where's the dip stick? i open the EO cap just now leh, and the cap dun have the dip stick attached. i leaned the bike to the right somemore, cannot even see my oil level, dunno what's wrong. :confused:

eh urs is simi simi bike.. i know the 02~07 R6 is a dipstick that is part of the EO cap leh..

the EO cap has no dip stick.....bottom left of EO cap, there is another long cap....looks like screw driver.....thats the DIP STICK

oops amba is right.. its located somewhere below the EO cover. EO cap with dipstick is my CBR400 era type though..

oh ok, i think i know where le, just now my mechanic showed me le, it's exactly where u pointed.

 

just changed a size 10 battery for my R6. cost me 68 bucks. hopefully no more push start for a long while.
