Err..yes I think for Yamaha its called the AIS..I came from Honda..its called PAIR valve.

 

PAIR or AIS is system is an air induction system used to burnt unburn fuel in the exhaust system so that exhaust fumes emitted is within EU or whichever country regulations.

 

It inducts hot air from the engine(intake) into the exhaust system. Thus if during dyno mapping, this will cause the exhaust probe on the dyno to read lean always no matter how much fuel is added. Backfiring is the by product of this air induction system.

 

Mine was plug/capped during dyno and its stays like that. Backfiring now is less frequent when compared previously..

Bro from what you are explaining ,it seems to be TPS issue. Your bike at times when you throttle abits, wil it like keep throttaling even though you have close throttle?bike die off halfway?

Yes i believe so as the butterfly valve(exup) opens and closes depending onhow much you throttle when the bike is crusing.

did anyone keep a lookout of r6 price like from a few year back ? thinking will the current price of r6 08 at the ending stage verus the price of r6 09 starting stage..

 

example r6 06 starting price and the ending price before the launch of 07 model is simliar or not??

 

and the price between 06 ending price and 07 starting price is near or not?? so i can maybe guage r6 09 might stay around same price or the price that will be jack up by HL and agents..

It does not generally mean that the starting price will be high and ending price will be low, it can be the other way round. a more accuarate answer you can call and ask hong leong see they can roughly tell you the price.

hmm as i only now then check out the price of r6.. i would wan to predict does they have the way of selling higher when the bike juz came out , and seling cheaper before end of the season. juz like how handphone r marketed in the current market.. only those rider that have seen this bike price then will know the trends over the years..

 

or does r6 price normally is the same price for the whole year.. mean from the realse to the end of the model for that particular normally is same throughout in term of pricing..

Ohyah Eh Noody Gixxer~~ pls go and do a check with HL hohs, if TPS issue not so safe as i believe you do go msia also.

 

I encounter when i open throttle or close at high speed with no response on NSH. 2nd encounter was at PG at bmw. Its quite scary as you would need to switch off ignition and turn on again den the throttle got response.

 

For safety measures i woudl advise you to go and check it out at HL.

Hi Kino bro,

 

Individual preference but i will give you some recomendations for normal street riding. Michelin Pilot powers or 2CT , Continental Sport attack , Dunlop sportmax qualifiers(aftermarket) and Pirelli Diablo Corsa 3. These tyres shld be good enuff for our sg road use =)
