R6 is designed with a 52.5% of weight at the front, 47.5% of weight behind.

This is to help in corner entry for stability at the track.

i see, so does this means its normall for r6 to wear front tyre faster than the rear. currently my front tyre wear about 75%( part of the tread are aredy bald flat) but my rear still left about 50%( the tread still intact but shallow).

is this normal? or is it affected by the difference in stiffness of the fork and shock. both fork and shock not stock settings, i learning to DIY tune, now it feels faster and more nimble at turns.

Which model you're ridding? If is the 2006-2008, removing the thermostate would help abit.

i'm riding a 2005 yamaha ... juz came back from overseas .. e bike hasn't been rode for 10 mths .. juz did a servicing and changed a lot of parts, spent about 1k .. seems like it is 5-10 deg higher compared to the last time i rode .. maybe it is due to the weather in spore

does anyone noe the market price of a 2005 R6? Not sure if i wan to keep my bike .. coz i'll be going overseas again

im riding 2009 model.didnt get d seat single seat cover too.i didnt ask aniwae. lolx.

fixing d lamp on d mirror bracket does look wierd but since i rarely ride on SG roads,it doesnt bother me much.its alot easier for me to remove it for track sessions.

2006 models hv common piston,con-rod,bearings problems n even d oil pump issues,as i hv heard fr my frens.
