Fact is, $5K downpayment for a new R6 is pretty low. Maybe you can try to put in more for your downpayment to reduce your monthly installment.

When i bought my R6 2008 in 2008. OTR price was 22k

I down 12k loan 10k for 24 mths. $469 per mth.. try to down atleast 30-50% of your bike price so your installment won't be so jia lat and also so your interest is not so much. SO you can break even with the bike faster.

 

bear in mind the maintaince of the bike. To push out a bike is very easy. to maintain the bike is another thing altogether..

average servicing is abt 150-180 bucks. tyres, brake pads, wear and tear?? after all this i'm sure you won't want to be riding a stock bike. Exhaust, fuel management, out look, handling mods, braking mods. all involve money. Maybe we cannot untilise the full performance of the bike. But looks nicer with a nicely done up bike IMHO. haha.. I won't be riding a stock bike around,.. haha

But i think the shop cheat me on the quote coz urs 2yrs only 469 mine is 408 considering that they say only 4% interest.. Ive alrdy recount and it shuld be arnd 350 per mnth for 60mnths. N im not really gonna down 5k. Like i said only a quote. N yes im aware of the service price n mod price. Anw thx for the info

That amounts your bike to almost 30k. What was the OTR price he quoted you and how much is your insurance?

haha yup better get them to recount for u.. btw mind sharing what shop? I down more den half of my bike ma.. i only loan 10k.. that's y 469 per mth..

Exactly.. 30k might as well i take out r1.. He quote me OTR 22+k. My insurance is 1.2k TPFT 22yr old

anyone knows what's the process of redeeming your bike loan? As in pay off in full? The shop has no early settlement penalty, but i'm wondering if its possible to get a rebate on the interest?

Not sure if you are already decided on the shop you going to buy, but why not check out HL Cycle (i'm not affliated with them btw) if you're buying brand new. They are quite transparent in their prices and they were kind enough to sit down with me to discuss about the terms and conditions when in was sourcing for the r6. I think their interest for class 2 bikes are 6%.

To All R6 riders bros.. Care to share me wat the selling price otr pricing on the market now.. Currently considering getting an R6 cz piss off w my current bike. Less than a yr already overhaul twice.. and how much would my insurance cost for the age of 25 yo.. R6 rd tax how much? Need this info cz need to calculate my finance bck hahahaha... Try asking bikeshop but some reluctant to tell much cz mayb for them it jx a waste of tym unless im really their pontential cust.

All i can tell you is that my insurance with ntuc 15% ncd is $956 25 yrs old 3 years riding exp. Road tax is cheep i think like $61 for 6 mths.
