Lol. I know definitely a R6 cost much more than the CBR600. Brand new otr ard 24-25k for R6. Sorry I don't know the price of the cbr600. I guess will be ard 22k. If u wanna get a brand new R6. Wait for the 2012 new facelift R6.

Wenxiong64, how sure are you with the 2012 new facelift R6? I heard the 2012 R6 is almost the same.

Just take into consideration of the total amount of interest and the total loan amount taken through hire purchase.

Buying a brand new one is different from buying second hand, although it's been used only 6 months. IMHO though. I think it's just me? Lol

Just buy laaaa

I just checked my front brake pads are half worn after 5 months of use, is this normal? I have been using the stock break pads and thinking of changing to EBC ones come end of the year.

Hi all, just got my R6 and running in now. Have a few questions while I figure this beautiful bike out..

1. Does the engine heat burn your thighs and balls?

2. Is 12km/l normal while running in?

1. Yes. Its normal on all R6. Riding in the hot sun makes it worst.

2. Well, technically i get 240km range before the reserve kicks in. This is with 60% normal riding (upshift at 4-5,000 RPM) and 40% whacking. Regular servicing and maintenance plays a part and the degree of performance modifications you have done to the bike i.e. exhaust systems

Guys which shop do u all get ur ebc pads from n how much are they?

Last i was quoted at Unique was around $110. Was recommended to get a pair once my brake pads are about to wear thin.

Can anyone recommend a decent brake pad that cheaper than EBC? Gonna change tmr

bro... try changing to the stock gold brake pads... but cheaper brake pads tend to wear out faster and are less efficient when braking...
