Hi brother J,

 

u bought cb1000r how much ah i mean everyting on the road and ur age pls. ur fuel consumption how ????????? pls advise , can i try try ur bike see how it feels etc etc , storage a lot boh at the underseat, is it same as spec3 so much storage de? is the sound as smooth as spec3 ,is it very noisy ,, same as other 1000cc brand make bikes?

 

Lastly is it upright position as it was like a spec3? i dont like bend down one , cos this bike loooks like sport bike but somehow some angle looks like a upright position bike just like a super4 , comfortable mah the riding posture ?

 

Yo bro, you ask so many question make me confuse and and blur blur leh.

Let me 1 by 1 explain to you.

 

1. I buy this bike on the road include every thing is $24k, insurance is depend ur age.

My is $800++ only, because my bike shop find the cheaper insurance but all include.

 

2. My fuel consumption is 260km open reserve with stock can.

 

3. Storage nt so big as spec 3, because this design tail very sharp and small, maybe 1 day you free can meet us for kopi and see the bike.

 

4. For me this bike is not noisy enough, because the noisy is lower then other class 2 bike.

 

5. For your riding position, this bike of course you can feel have bend position while you riding. Because this bike can go very high speed, if yur body too straight i dont think you can take the wind.

 

But got member adjust handle bar only, now they riding position very straight and feel very good.

Did u all guys came across ppl install box for cb1000r ? i am a box man leh , i need a box desperately de, if cannot install box i might have to give this bike a miss le .

 

 

 

does it come with main stand too ?????

 

Of course you can install the box, got side box and rear box for this model.

 

Of course never come with main stand, spec 3 also need to buy optional.

Do you need to carry a lot of things everyday? I need to carry rain pants, rain cover, notebook, cables, stationary, etc. I use a very big backpack (30L). I find it a pain to carry it everyday but no choice. Want bike to look nice then have to do this .....

 

i think u are still young tat y u will say tat---- Want bike to look nice then have to do this . when u grow old like me , 30 yr old i u will rather got box than have to carry so many things everyday le. it is really a pain leh carry heavy thing from pt A to pt B. plus i dont like carry helmet when i alight also, hand tired plus scare knock this knock tat when shopping . when u go to those woman shop souvenior shops , it will alway have this sign-- good to see good to touch once broken consider sold ha ha ha

I am very young correct. 30yrs old only

 

No lah cos for me I care abt the appearance of the bike more. If I want a bike that has storage and still look nice, I won't get a bike like CB1000R cos it's meant to be sporty looking. Put a box really spoil the looks lah. Put side panniers (like Oxford side panniers) still ok (but the panniers will scratch the side of the bike after some-time).

 

I really carry all those rubbish everyday to work. No choice man. I lock my helmet to the bike and cover it up. So still OK. But don't forget I still got gloves and riding jacket to lug around. ARGH! Dam troublesome! I really understand all your concerns because they are my concerns too. Sigh ...

 

Go shopping most likely I dont ride liao .. take bus. A bit stupid. Got bike but don't ride

Mmm still ok leh. Not say hot until cannot tahan. I also heard Honda is the quietest bike. But too quiet is boring lah. But it's all up to individual. Some pple are tired of loud pipes. Some pple just want to get louder

 

Why don't you get a crusier? Can put side panniers and still look nice and not noisy and comfortable. But of course you sacrifice power and speed. Honda VTX1300 is a chio bike. VTX1800 also chio but super big.

Fierce bike wont be quiet one lah .. performance bikes will never be tamed.

 

ST is an overkill in Singapore unelss you go Msia often. ST is not fierce, it's smooth.

 

Even if you buy the CB1000R, you need to ride it like a sports bike. This bike is bulit for that .. it's not a tamed daily trasnport bike. I tried to ride my Street Triple gently and it feels like crap.

 

So you got to decide. You can consider the BMW GS. Looks good with metal boxes

CB1000R is short and fit bike, some people thought this is 2A bike if they never see the sticker "CB1000R" on bike. After i tell tell them, they very surprise this is class 2 bike because the size small.
