Jeff, the Ducati Monster and the Streetfighter are both different bikes! They are heaven and earth difference. If you were to compare the Monster and CB1000R. I'll keep the CB anytime...

Hi Guys! Im back from my riding trip to thailand! all in 1 piece. thank God!

got some feedback though...

bike unstable on constant speed of above 200km/h.

n got alot of tankslappers. my bike shift frm lane to lane during strong winds.

i tink 150-170km/h is d best riding speed for our bike.

(ride safe is d best way to reach a destination) hehehe...

ok,i jz wanna share sum bad experience & 1 2 get opinion fr all of u.

Its like tis,last week i went 2 gelang patah 2nd link 4 topup w 2 other r6 09&08 + me cb1000r. after d syiok u-turn corner heading bck 2 tuas,ma fren r6 run out of petrol so we decide 2 stop @ d rd shoulder&wen i tink of safety i on ma hazardlight 2gether w d r6 09 bt both of us didnt let our bike in run mode&after bout 10mins doin tat we decide 2 move after ma other fren manage 2 get sum petrol @ d opposite rd. tats wer wen i tried 2 start ma bike bt it jz wun crank. im stressed out,i tried push start,checking all d fused bt nutin wrong.wen i tried 2 crank it produce a click2 sound&d light getting dimmer as if ma batt running low.so i decide 2 push 2 d nearest stop which is within 1 km. once reach der i saw a steep slope goin down d shell station so i ngage gear 2 ,let it roll den open d throttle & it starts! so i jz let it run bout 10 mins den off & start again2 ma surprised it can still start till 2dae no more such prob occurs bt im afraid tat it wud happen again. so did u guyz gt ani info on prob 4 tis machine? or is it bcos of rectifier? batt?

It's time to learn how to type properly and change your battery before your rectifier is fried. I had a hard time reading your message.

Yeah bro, a lot of us have that problem too! some changed battery after 6mths n 1 of us had his coil fried... i tink its time for u to change your Batt...

Nice to meet you bro, think because you never start your bike and on your hazardlight causes batt low. This is very normal because our bike can't swift off the head light, if you turn on the key our the signel light, headlight and rear tail light will on together also. This will take alot of power from batt.

 

I have this bad experience before with my super 4, run out petrol and on the light let container pull me to petrol station. After pump the petrol can't start need push start the bike.

 

Because our bike is using electronic starter. Electronic starter use more power to start the bike, if your batt low of course not enough power to start.

 

That why we put volt meter on our bike to monitor the batt. Hope this can help your.
