Hi, I'm looking for any Rx, Rx-S & Rx-K kakis to exchange information and ideas about modding bikes.

 

I believe the these 3 rx series can be real head turners if done up properly (no offense to rx-z though).

 

so come on people!!! let's get this topic rolling.

rxs,rxk is good bike to ride,can out run rxz if tune up properly.

hehehe

but if rx difficult loh,coz it onni 100 cc,and cannot put rxk parts together.

unlike the rxs,u can convert it totally into a rxk,and can easily outrun a rxk.

U need to talk to Scooterer. He rides a ST11 but has a RX-100 on the side. It's a real beauty...everything's been restored/replaced/refurbished.

 

I ride a RXK myself...FA plate. Ummm...don't really know that much about it.

 

Oh I have the Haynes RS/RXS 100/125 repair manual. If you want a copy let me know.

what's the fuel consumption of your RXK like? Mine's definitely below 20km/l, which I don't think is normal. Am monitoring it now. Just opened the airscrew up a bit so hopefully that'll improve things.

my rxk fuel consumption i dun really know exactly cause the knob of my milage meter came off so cat track properly.

 

but full tank it can last me for up to a week. and that is everyday riding from yishun to ngee ann poly. to and fro.

 

is that normal?

hey guys, ive been looking around to find some peeps who share the same passion as me in riding rxk or rxs or rx (it doesnt matter, all are fine). actually the honda cg 125s are fine too. and so far i not yet come across any of them. do any one of you know anyplace that i can 'subscribe my membership' to join these organisations so to speak?

 

its very lonely riding alone on a bike i know that is quite popular among people of similar interests as mine.

 

so if anyone could just help me or give me information... hmmmmm

that's exceptional, I think.

 

My bike ran out of gas the other day when i was on the Telok Blangah via-duct (the semi-completed bridge in front of harbour view). Had to push the bike 6km to the gas station!!!!

 

I pumped 1.5litres of gas (was going to Malaysia the next day, and I had some gas in a can at home) and when I got home there was only 820ml left (drained the tank). However, I had only travelled 10km!!! which means my mileage was 12km/l!!!!!! WTF...like riding KTM or driving car.

 

I've since fiddled with the airscrew...the bike runs smoother now. It doesn't gurgle at 60-70km/h. But I'm still sure i'll get less than 20km/l. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to go fiddle with the bike, so I want to see how far off I am from the average consumption of a RXK.

I don't think there are any organisations for RXKs. In general, bikers don't form organisations, only "communities" heh. There are exceptions of course, like Storm Riders and HOG...but in general, bikers are chin-chye/sui bian.

 

I ride a RXK but to be honest I wouldn't say I really like it. It's my friend's, and I'm just using it till I pass my 2A. But I'm thinking of spraying a camouflage pattern on it. He says I can do anything to it haha....Maybe I'll spray the exhaust black since the chrome's gone.

benguin, at first you wanna get aprilla rs 125, and you got it, after 3 weeks of ridimg the bike stalls on u and you said you wanna get a tw 200, then you said you wanna keep your rs 125 then now you say u wanna get vintage vespa??!!!

I have been riding these RXK bike for nearly 4 years. 2 Lau-K for 2 years completely mods.

 

Actually modding is not that exp. Just spend ard $100 n yr bike will be beautiful.

 

I can help to guide how to mod.

Original Rxk parts is easy to find.

 

Just go to any bikeshops tat have an old mechanic. Old mech are the experts on bike like ours. The young one did not know much.

 

Btw, dun go to JB to repair yr bike. They dun even have our parts.

 

For yr info, Malaysia BANNED the RXK.(words from a JB Dude)

 

Why dun you sent me a pic of yr bike, and hopefully i can get a rough idea of wat yr bike need or wat u want yr bike to look like.
