Finally my S main frame is done. Shining gloss black now. However, the wait is still long.

How time flies...

Big is certainly a warning but small can be downright scary! Never underestimate the effectiveness of small.

There is 2 pairs of wires for the 6V I.U. right?

one is from the bike battery and

the other is from the side of the I.U. to another side of the I.U.

Try to cut of the one from the I.U. to the other side one.. and connect the 12V to the main part, not the small side part..

Most of the time is the side thing(6v-12v converter) that is spoilt

and the I.U. is still working .

The uncle/mechanic changed the bulbs, battery and condenser only.Didn't change the coil.I trust him as he also riding a RXS and converted his.Brighter bulbs bro.Recommend u to change.Cos for the 6v,i had to wait some time after starting bike then the horns can sound the signal lights will work.

But now only problem is the i.u lor.I'll try what bro gabriel suggested. To cut the wires and join them together.Otherwise have to get another i.u and i donno whether to get a 6v or 12v one. :D

Bro,since ur bike is being prepared, why not change some other stuffs as well?RXK exhaust,RXK tank,RXK block and piston. :cheeky:

Forgot to say,my 12v cost me $70 altogether.

cut the connecting wire.

den connect 12v straight to the main IU, take note of polarity. +ve and -ve terminal.

DO not connect the 12v to the 6v-12v converter unit.. u might burn it.

or u can use a 9v rectangle battery. it will work as well.
