eh guys guys, i also just bought RXK frm AHM like 2 weeks ago. im a new rider ah just passed. the outlook of the bike is in bad condition cos evrything rusty like the fork, exhaust, rims. now slowly trying to mod it into vintage

 

btw the bike u mention which is for a big project has white colored tanks isnt it??

yup, that was the felle's old tank. for his new setup, he will be using a harley tank. maybe u can drop by and meet at ahm. im doing up my rxk this saturday. i also need to clean up the frame before installing new parts.

oh i currently no money to change stuff on my bike. maybe in 2 weeks time i plan to change my fork cos very rusty oready and when i travel at high speed it wobbles/sways. i go workshops some quote prices ard 200plus but will jalan2 again. havent go AHM yet to ask cos i stay at north then like very far..

Yup,it was my Busa. But i trust Ah Hong will settle all the repairs when he is better. Just wish his speedy recovery.I believe everything happens for a reason.

 

But for now,i'll just have fun on my RXS! Just changed to RXK tank and squarish head fairing.Just love the new retro look.

yah, i heard its 12l also. yours is the red color 1? i'm doing mine also in red. original is black, i tink too common dats y i change to red. last night i drop by ahm then go makan with ah cui and rosli. anyway, ah hong change ward already, no more in icu. his lungs still go water and need to drain out...

 

Yup,mine is the red color.Same as yrs! Saw all the stuffs u ordered.GPR suspension,side panels,tank,etc.

 

Anyways,if anybody converting to 12v battery and bulbs,i can help rewire ur I.U to work. Just took out the side converter today and now my I.U looks like any regular 12v I.U.

bro, swingarm, either the shop or u need to send for chrome yrself. be prepared, very ex!!!! chrome rims, u can use union rims. sideboard and shock , u can get original (taiwan). unless if u want japan made, very very ex... i even saw someone using kayaba shocks! very shiok to see. for me n y2k, we ask ahm to order then fix up. once u r regular there (same as if r a regular at other mototiam), the prices are lower than u buy from the dealer directly. u can try to go chong aik and ask, then, compare if you ask ahm to order. try to ask around first. dun rush.

any idea where to get the seats for rxk ? mine rusty until breaking apart... oh ya and the screws are rusty ... any idea where to replace them with the Allen key screws?

also same, try chong aik. for screws, can go to screw shop at kitchener road. ask for stainless steel type. bring sample. expensive but worth it.

Better lar bro.Since ur GPR 12v signal lights,might as well u convert to 12v.Better lightings.Can use stebel horns(I used back my FZ6 ori horn).Ah cui will know wat to do.Just that u need to rewire ur I.U(if u are using ). Cos my I.U came out smoke at the 12v-6v converter side after i converted to 12v.Then a bro here taught me how to do the rewiring and all settled.

I just hope that my RXS won't fail on me during this time that my Busa is in "I.C.U". Good thing is tat spares cheap.Bad thing,using purely local petrol so monthly petrol bill higher.My busa was running on JB petrol.

Position the + screwdriver on the o screw, hammer the screwdriver and turn anti-clockwise at the same time. Spray some WD40 if necessary.
