hi bro.. the design is like the 1 u mentioned. but i will send u a picture to you soon. but keep in mind that the tank does not come with the fuel cork.

I still not sure of my RXK and RXS capacity.Think the difference is only bout 2-3 litres.I'll try to search for the bike specs.

I also selling my RXS tank. Maroon color with all the Yamaha logos intact minus the lock.Minor dings here and there but still in very good condition.I just upgraded to bigger RXK tank.Sellin my RXS tank for only $30.SMS me at 90046031 to deal.

 

P.S Bro tijan,if u happen to drop by AHM,tell Ah Cui to put my RXS tank one side.I not free lar these few days.Normally i drop by after school to take a look at my busa.

bro..... some tanks need to modify in order to fit on the rxk frame. need to consult yr mech first. like once i told y2kredbull, i ever saw a rxk put on a bajaj pulsar tank.

got yourself a super scary condition(exteriorly) rxk.

What i did dude,i went to a nearby jb shop-friendly and nice malay chap

there and i told him i want all my rusty screw,lossen chrome parts

tighten securely and safely and on another occassion did my wiring wholefully

for 20RM & 35RM-48RM on my rxk respectively.although its like 2-4 hrs

concentrating on my bike only(both occassion).

i really love how it turned out!

im too lazy to even put 2t nowadays when 2 years ago i

even bother to overhaul ex-ktm2 piston/piston ring every 3-4 mths

chrome parts i get at balestier or jln besar area

but workmanship and stainless steel screw i just give this mech do.

 

maybe u can follow what i did as it's worth the effort & money i believe?

esp for poly student like me.have to spend every single cent wisel

head cowling can buy from lim ah boy.tank oso can get from ah boy.d side plate u refering to wat? the yamaha wording? the rxk wording? or the side box cover?

normally mechs wont file off or saw off ur existing brackets.. they would just add on brackets

 

cos doing things to the main frame might change the properties of the overall design of the bike.. and that is dangerous..

 

a good mech would work around the existing bike design, not re-design the bike main structure haha..

hey bro, yes can put rxz fork.. but the front would be high up.. so u need to clamp abit lower.. meaning the top part of the fork would be poking up from the handle bar clamp area... unless u saw it off..

 

but yes it can fit.. just that rxz fork is longer.. thats all..

My S can go till 120km/h then starts to "float". Heard that the K vibrates a lot.

petrol started flowing out from the outlets of my caberator when i started my bike and on the petrol valve. i only realised it when i started riding for few minutes. i stopped . after switching my bike and the petrol valve on off for a while, everything was normal again. any idea whats the problem??

My K ah, ok-ok only lah. Not so mod. The normal round headlight, rear light and speedometer. Actually when i buy its like tat liao, so i save money on the outlook but spend more internally. And my bike now problem and dont know wats the cause. See my previous thread regarding the Friendship Motor where i kena ketuk to the max. And still the problem have nt been resolved.

 

Im bringing it to Sungei Kadut tmr and see wat the uncle have to say. If possible try to fix all the problems. Brake pads lah, drum brakes lah, bearings lah etc.

 

Then I go paint my outlook. Got an idea for my outlook but only need to find place with good price. Any lobang? Maybe i try ask the Sungei Kadut Uncle whether he do paint/spray etc.

haha i stay at clementi !!! if wan wed around 11+ you free ?? i going to get my fork and brake pump changed... =) so sungei kadut got help service bike huh?? i repair alot of stuff during these 4 days keke spend quite alot but i think it's worth.. can meet up to tok more about it =)

gab rxz fork cant exactly fit onto rxk nicely.. ive done it b4.coz wid a stock rxk clamp, d fork cannot go higher den ur clamp area.coz it'll b stuck.my advice to all my bros who wana use rxz fork, its bttr dat u buy rxk handle clamp extender from lim ah boy.which will make ur handle slightly higher n nearer to u.tink its very commonly used by those abang2 despatch wid their deadly Ks.hehe.well i was one of em oso.until i got sick of my sick RX-S/K... hahaha
