i bought a bottle of battery water.. read up abit.. is also known as distill water. at least if buy the correct want more safe laa.. i also dun dare put normal distill water..

hmm for respray. after paint removed. sanded. how many layers of paint shd i sprayed? whats the precaution to take note when spraying? how many cans of spray need for the tank onli? for the lacquer usually how long after spraying the pylox paint then u apply? what brand is gd?

 

many recommend nippon spray.. but i use cheapskate spray will do.. the technique of painting plays a part. spray too much .. dats it.

 

i spray the tank only actually 1 color can is enough.. but for bright color.. buy 2 - 1 white.. 1 color of your choice. wait 10-20mins between each coating. thats important.. at least 3 layers..

 

lacquer i also use nippon.. i dunoo what brand is better than nippon... just remember do your job during hot day...

Lol mine was just one of those erm... the not-so successful one? Alot of them here did it themselves and they all turned out pretty well. Anyway it was a good experience and you should try it you know, at least experiment around just so you'll know how it feels like before getting it done professionally? Just my 2 cents yeah..

 

I got my tank and side covers sprayed for 200 bucks. Metallic black and pearl white, it's abit steep. One of the guys here 'themusicpeople' has a better deal so perhaps you can pm him and ask him for the contact no for the shop he went to. Brand new RXK tank, putty up the groove for the yamaha plastic, black with silver star and stripes for only 150 bucks. Quite a neat job if you ask me.

haha.. the super 4 is a very smooth bike.. power wise.. i think its ermm.. not too bad.. but need to high rev.. above 7k rpm than u can feel the power.. else its pretty manageble...

 

i am yet to get my 2a... haha.. 1 more lesson den i can book TP.. yawn... work has been crazy...

 

but i think gt is one of the faster vespa models right? smooth?? maybe one day can let me try ur ride

my advise is dont try i seldom let it fall till super dry..open the cap and shake the bike to ensure there is petrol left... if u shake and cant see any petrol its about time to go to the kiosk..
