yo guys, my RXS has been having some difficulty in maintaining speed, was wondering is it a carb problem?

 

When im riding at ie: 70km/h at gear 5, suddenly starts to slow down, then i drop gear to maintain the speed, then it continues until the bike is crawling..

 

any ideas? thanks guys.

 

mine even worst.. gear 1 or 2 like canot 'tarik'..

 

wash your carb.. maybe dirt stuck inside.. like mine.. becos tank rust abit.. i go service the uncle say old bike must wash frequently.. small sand.. rust.. etc easy get in.. make sure air filter/box clean.. usually wash 15+.. i kena chop 18 bux sia.

but i hate the bus ! 1hour 15 mins to work ! with bike can reach in about 20mins.. ! and dont have to squeeze with so many people.. sian..

The pick up is quite powerful and it's auto so just throttle and go haha. Why don't you wanna ride your K all the way till you get your 2A? Then you wouldn't have to squeeze with ppl and take 1½hr to get to work. The journey so long, damn sian man.

1 litre of petrol put 20-25ml of 2t so if full tank 10 litres mean 200 ml - 250 ml.... dats what i always do

guys...which one of u hv gone to de hamilton rd uncle for servicing?...i noticed dat for oil change...he will pour ard 3/4...den de rest he keep.shouldn't we get to keep de balance oil since we paid for it?...

i used pylox yellow paint to spray my tank, then followed by the lacquer which is also from pylox. it doesnt suit. some reaction occur between these 2 paints. so those who wanna try, maybe the lacquer u all try other brands. gmoh i bought the rubber boots from hamilton uncle too. did u experience any prob for the boots b4 u sold ur bike? cus mine like after riding a while, the boots will be stretched at the bottom. it seems like the boots he sold are too tight to fit onto the fork. is urs tight too when u fix it in?

take a picture and post here? if its exposed.. use a mini hack saw.. saw a groove in the middle.. use a screwdrive take it out.. and change a new nut

 

if its those allen head... u can try hammer one size bigger into the screw.. den screw out.. but if really cannot..

 

u need to use a small drill and drill the middle and use a screw remover.. its something like this

what recommended tyres are you all using? im using dunlop roadster and twice i buang like a rotten jackfruit

i use golden boy tyres. vee rubber also good. how come u buang? corner is it?
