Hello good pple. I want to spray my tank. Any tips.

Weiqiang, i read before that u tried spray painting ur bike. Any tips for me? Did u remove the whole tank or u spray with the tank intact. Get wat i mean. lol.

Any good shop giving good bargain for the rim and spoke. Or is it I can use my old spoke. Reccomendations and tips pls. Thanks all.

love u all!:lovestruck:

hmm i tried to sand off the lacquer layer then i spray with nippon spray. but u must make sure the spray can head is at least 20 cm away. when i spray too near there was a patch of thick spray. that time i did 3 layers.

the lacquer my dad tried but he say that the nippon lacquer wasnt good. something like when he spray the lacquer over, the texture not smooth. i also not very sure. then in the end my dad's fren remove my whole paint and respray him self using some other brands of paint. the paint he bought was in a container then he use his own spray bottle to spray my bike.

But before the lacquer was sprayed, i'm actually quite satisfied with my own spray lol. dunno what happen to the lacquer part as i was in camp when my dad did it.

but really u must make sure u hold the can far away sia. let the small little paint sprinkles cover the tank layer by layer. hope u get what i mean.

*anyone knows the engine cover how much?

*who knows where can get original cg 125 front mud guard (taiwan one really rust damn easily)?

*anyone saw a new yamaha original rear mud guard at any of the shops in spore?

I think u just send it back to the workshop and explain to the mechanic the problem. Surely he can solve it for u.

FYI. There's a pothole on the utmost left lane from PIE going towards Jrg, near the exit to BKE.

Just some info to share with my bros and sistas (if any). Was otw home from town, sending my gf back first and was thrown aback when my K jerk abruptly. Was too late when i saw the pothole though. Lucky rim all ok and no one was hurt. :thumb:

BTW any one here service ur RX at Sungei Kadut there b4?

i think yr carb is not the main culprit here. The problem maybe lies thru yr starter cable or start coil. Remember, the K have 3 coils, the starter coil, the coil for the headlights and the coil for the battery. The starter coil is located below yr tank. If the starter coil is not the problem, change yr ignition switch.

This is a tip for those wif 6V wiring system. To prevent problems like; dim lights, 'blow' bulbs, follow tis steps. First, the all wires r in good condition; i mean no koyak ones. Second, make sure the coils r not 'black'. Third, check the voltage of all bulbs, make sure its 6V NOT 12V. Forth, the battery, i recommend dry cell, to be replaced every 6mths. Everytime u start yr bike, off all light switch, let engine idle at neutral gear for a least 5 minutes. Why? So tat the coil can charge the battery, to charge faster, rev the throttle abit.
