Colin Edwards managed a best of 0.2 sec faster than Stoney's fastest lap from Sepang race, during post Sepang testing on the 2008 M1 with Michelins. Of course, the track was cleaner and definately better during post testing, according to Nicky Hayden, who managed to smash Rossi's record Pole timing set on 990 M1.
