I test drove the Kelisa last month after being enticed by it's low prices. Naturally being a kiasu & kiasee car shopper, I also test drove the Kia Picanto. The Korean mini costs $2K more but in my opinion, it was money well spent.

While a close buddy of mine has confirmed with me that Kia parts are available in Malaysia, I have not verified that and will not comment on it. Yes, Perodua parts is naturally in abundance in Malaysia.

This car is quite powerful even though u buy a automatic car. Sat in it with 3 other person in the car, can feel the power. And the fuel consumption is quite low according to my friend. In fact, this friend of mine is selling this car at UBI (the main dealer). And his GF bought the car, all white one, very nice. Never tried it personally but will try when his roadshow comes to my neighbourhood. Anyone interested to know more about the car from my friend can PM me.

The secret to this is power to weight ratio.

Hi Bro

If you do a calculations, the taxi fare you take in 10 yrs might not even come up to dat amount if u take during wkend period, excluding road tax, insurance, parking, maintenanace and petrol.

Unless of coz if convenience is more impt here.

Just for everyone's info, the secret to the kelissa's good fuel consumption is because it's utilizing 3 Cylinders, same technology as in Daihatsu's Charade.

Read a lot of positive reviews about it being light, good FC and fast for a 1 litre.

But don't expect excellent handling, those of you whom have watched Jeremy Clarkson handle the Kelissa in Top Gear should know.

anyway I saw the new Kia Rio hatch back at the suntec road show 2day, nice interior trims like a racy gear knob, black leather seats wif red switches, full bodykits n 17" sports rims...wondering if it still rolls dwn the hill like the old version shown in top gear
