Anybody out there into death metal(eg.cannibal corpse,deicide,hate eternal,impiety,behemoth,origin,morbid angel...)or black metal(eg.mayhem, emperor,immortal,darkthrone,marduk)or thrash(eg.slayer,megadeth,anthrax,testament,overkill,kreator,sacred riech..)or old school stuff like black sabbath,deep purple,ac/dc n stuff.im sure we got a lot 2 talk about.....hailz.

I'm the old school kind of guy, and I like my music LOUD and OLD! Hehe! Anyway, I'm into Deep Purple, and I went to their one night only concert last year. Surprisingly, there was a very decent young crowd, and not just uncles around!

Sometimes still play the old skool metal music on my harddrive when I'm playing games ..etc for sentimentality sake, used to listen in my primary skool days to Helloween, Loudness, Rainbow and many more lah, too many to list. As I grew up I listened to Anthrax, Slayer, Testament, Mordred ) from trip-hop to electronica to drums&bass and so on. Not much of a music purist as I get older.

Unfortunately no, I don't follow up on metal music anymore but yeah I used to listen to Megadeth too.

where do u buy ur stuff?i get most of my stuff from ROXY at funan.the only few places i know dat sellz metal stuff r Queensway,Tower Records Suntec,HMV(if u r lucky).HMV tends 2 b quite expensive coz mostly all jap press.then there is ayung's shop at penisula,but he sellz mostly underground stuff.if u r into king diamond or mercyful fate can go 2 the cd shops at chinatown n buy.can find old old albums quite cheap.any other place u can recommend?

i'm not into that kind of music; but favourite band of all time Iron Maiden, Halloween n Metallica in the late 80's n 90's. Used to play their songs during competition in the Polytechnic.

 

really slow down now. no more metal stuff for me. but Aces High by Iron Maiden never fail to make my hair stand - even now. Favourite song of the decade.

nope...king diamond n mercyful fate r 2 seperate bands n different members...ABIGAIL!!!!!n yes iv heard of sonata b4...not really my cup of tea..but the musicianship is there...helloween is 1 of the best bandz that cm out of Germany along with sodom/kreator...try Nocturnal Breed at roxy if u r into speed...

no s***!my 1st metal album was iron maiden's debut...u may say im crazy but i actually like paul dianno's sound then bruce dickinson...but i agree dat powerslave kicks ass..n fear of the dark...n number of the beast...n no prayer 4 the dying.....n yes...im still into death metal...suffocation,grave,dismember,seance...all the old school stuff kickz azzzzzzzzzzz!!!!!!!!

datz album quite new right?2002 if im not wrong...the album is good but i think the older 1s r more eerie....9 is not a bad album 2...
